What race is your favorite and why? I can't really name one in particular, so I'll name three. Oh, also name your favorite armor/weapon for said race. They're either:

1. Female Imperial - w/ nightingale armor w/o hood, wielding how to find what's in spoiler 1 (looks badass, in my opinion)
2. Male Nord - preferably deadric armor, wielding Daedric greatsword
3. Female Dark Elf - Any good looking light armor, wielding nightingale Bow or any other dark-ish bow.

No random order, first is the best and third is the least best (not worst per say) Oh, and am I the only one to think the male's screams sound a bit girlish? (Not the Thu'um shouts, but the "hard attack" scream)

Favorite race: Argonian.
Favorite armor: I don't like any armor.
Favorite weapon: I still haven't found my favorite yet. I just go with the one with the most damage.

Favorite Race: Orc (they have the most interesting look in my opinion)
Favorite Armor: The Wolf Armor along with the Steel Plate Armor
Favorite Weapon: Any kind of greatsword

Latinas, cause they simply are the hottest chikas

Favourite race : Altmer, makes killing Thalmor all the more enjoyable. Outcast indeed.
Favourite armour : Robes of Restoration.
Favourite weapon : The Ghostblade.

Khajiit. They're cats, they're thieves and they really like moon sugar.

Orc was never my favorite race in ...well.. anything, but I'm having a blast on my orc girl in this game. I tried several characters for a level or two, but she was the one that stuck.

my favorite race are the giants, although i wonder how they reproduce.

I like being a male Nord, simply for the fact that I myself am a guy and I just think it makes more sense as Skyrim is the home of the Nords.

favorite race: Altmer, because of magicka bonus.
favorite armor: any robes other then novice
favorite weapon: wabbajack. I dont use any other weapons besides the wabbajack.

Favorite: Breton, I can get a character that looks frighteningly similar to me, I love Breton lore and how they came into exsistance.

Also, my favorite NPC is Delvin Mallory.. who I HOPE HOPE HOPE will be in a DLC.

Favorite Armor: Linwe's Armor/ Guild Master's Armor

Favorite Weapon: Enchanted Dwemer dual swords /w Silent moons on one, and life leach on the other.

Favourite race: Dunmer, they can do pretty much anything and look badass when doing it
Favourite armour: A mix between Nightingale and Shrouded. Usually I use Nightingale armour, boots and gloves and a shrouded hood
Favourite weapon: Ebony bow and sword. Or maybe Dragonbane.

armour: none of the armour in skyrim is really any good for an argonian but if i have to pick...dark brotherhood armour, it feels like it was made for an argonian imo
weapon: the bow you get in the TG

haha. yes, I feel sorry for the Argonians in skyrim... they look so cold in they're hide armor they seem to wear mostly

It no longer matters which race you choose- it's primarily cosmetic. A mage will want Breton or High Elf, though with the reduced spells and inability to make your own, any race can be a worthwhile mage. Any race can be a melee fighter.

The distinctions of race are almost gone.

I prefer this system. Your cosmetic choices don't limit what you can do in a significant way, and that's a good thing imo. I get to play my orc mage without seriously gimping myself.

Yes and if you notice, Bethesda hints at this in-game... like Osmund at the college of winterhold.

second is probably breton, i've always played a breton in tes, light armored (glass) spell sword, probably my actual favorite overall

As for mer i like pure mage altmer. I'm opposed to them fictionally...their religion is wack

The Dunmer because of the Lore behind them and because they really fit my playstyle as far as what they're naturally talented at.

I'm also really interested in the Redguards. While not my favorite, I might create a character that is a Redguard.

As far as which races I don't like, the Bosmer I found short, fat, and really annoying in OB so I don't like them much. Imperials aren't at the top of my list either although they do have my favorite province so far.

Also near the top of my list are the Nords. They are rugged and look a lot like me. Blonde hair, blue eyes. I always thought I'd role one but just am not drawn toward using a sword and board.

The beast races are also pretty cool. Really the only other character I've played and had fun with has been a Khajiit Vampire in OB. I really loved it and am looking forward to trying one out in SK. I've never played an Argonian because they just seem really dirty by the name of their homeland and the stories I've heard about Black Marsh back my assumption up.

And lastly, I'm neutral on the Orismer. I've never had too much of a problem with them and have never been treated too badly by one. Same with the Altmer minus the way they treat everyone. They are a-holes but I'm really drawn to their background and Summerset Isles. That land sounds awesome and I can only hope that we get to experience that province one day.

Favorite Weapon: Bound Sword or a combination of any destruction spell.
Favorite Armor: Ebonyflesh with the Arch-Mages robes.

argonians are my faves, but armor looks just [censored] on them, sadly.

Favourite Armor : Either HoodLESS Thalmor robes with wolf gauntlets/hide bracers and daedric boots and the redguard hood ( the red one not the blueish Al'kir one ) Or Tsun's Armor, daedric boots and wolf gauntlets
Favourite Weapon : Ebony Greatsword for 2h, for 1h.. its a toss up between many weapons lol

oh and i ALWAYS wear the ring that lets you eat corpses , its awesome just munching a dead female out

Weapons: Dual-casting magic / empty hands when without mana

Race: Khajiit
six: Female (why would I want to stare at the back end of a guy all day?)
Armor: Steel Plate, Leather, Forsworn, Nightingale(without Hood)
Primary Weapon: Daedric Daggers & Daedric Sword
Secondary Weapon: Daedric Bow

5 Reason's for favorite Race:
(1.) Furry (don't judge me)
(2.) Always played as a Khajiit in previous games
(3.) To see in the dark for free
(4.) Skooma & Moon Sugar!!
(5.) Being extra sneaky at begining of game

With that 25% magic resistance, along with very useful Dragonskin ability recharging your own magicka.....
