I like the whtie version of the Novice robe model (I think its Adept, but maybe Apprentice)

Never seen any unenchanted though, which is annoying. The "College robes" are alright, but don't come with any hood and have an open neck on the coat, same with unechanted "Master robes".

I really like the unenchanted hooded black robes I found during the mage questline, and I duplicated them with the mannequin glitch so I can enchant as many as I want. With potions, I got up to 90% destruction and restoration fortification I think.

Archmage robes, because it looks warm, warm enough for a cold region unlike the other bathrobes.

to be perfectly honest, the robes from novice up to adept look the best in my book, sure they are very closely related, but each have nice detail on them, also, very important to me, they where thought out to look great with the corresponding hood. the higher tier robes don't, in fact if you try wearing a hood you look silly as they weren't designed to wear a hood with them. So fo me, as far a s looks go, the Adept robe and hood looks awesome, those warm colors and the details on the fabric are excellent, they really do say " here's a mage that knows his stuff". Also i admit the archmage robe looks quite ok even tho its quite flashy, and since it will allow you to equip a circlet, its quite a good choice for a pro wizard that still wants a little magicka off whilst stun-locking targets

what I have been looking ages for hooded black robes unenhanted but I feel what's ridiculous is how there's a low selection of robes unenchanted I mean in armor topics people can raise DR with smithing and use that favorite amor yet mages have 3 robes to
choose from the robe selection is bad enough and we can't even get a disenchanted robe we like

What I ended up with is buying unenchanted balck robes in clothing store in Solitude and coupling that with unenchanted worn DB hood I got doing DB questline-- then enchanted them the way i wanted. Bethesda made Skyrim sorely lacking in a good choices of robes for mages (they dropped the ball in many ways for mages, actually). I really like the look of Thalmor hooded robes, but would love to enchant myself--separate hood to enchant would be nice. Not to mention the majority of robe types, colors, etc are written into game , but aren't accessable unless you use console commands...

Ah, I see. Unfortunately I am still about a month away from moving to the PC. Still I have not come across College or Green in the game in 6 chars and 1000 hrs.
I bought college robes in the shop in solitude that sells clothes (forget name). They were unenchanted expert robes

The Archmage robes look like a Mexican shepherd's poncho. I went with a mod that replaced it with a retextured Psijic robe.

I honestly wouldn't have minded if they'd kept the fur but made the robes look more regal. Heavy-looking fur-trimmed robes would have been nice.

It's a mod, but: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=873

These. And Thalmor robes are nice, too, only they make my mage's ass look big.

i reskinned the arch-mage robes into hooded Thalmor robes. ( hooded Thalmor robes are my favorite)
Is your mod available online? I'd like some powerful Thalmor robes.

There's a white version???

Apprentice is the one I was thinking of. The hood isn't white though, the body depends on the light.
