Your LEAST satisfying kill?

Alduin, definatly. Like a lot of people I was disappointed that I was stuck with 3 nord meatshields

At no point was i personally in any danger, he didn't seem to care about my presence. Given my ninja-y nature I couldn't sneak attack him due to him being in combat with the nordiots, which meant all i could do was hang back and pepper him with arrows in a very uninspired fashion, with the occasional shout foe good measure.

The Emporer I was happy with the way it was done. I wasn't expecting an epic battle (Altough Titus WAS a general of great renown as well as an emporer), and a stab in the dark for the Emporer seems a bit dull. The kill is as exciting as you make it... blast him to bits with magic, nail his head to the wall with an arrow. Poison him, brutalise him... or, as in my case, I let him look out the window for a bit and enjoy the last view before slitting his throat and hopping overboard in an extremely professional fashion

What difficulty are you guys playing this game on? Tourist?!

Normal with crafting for Ulfric, Normal with Uber crafting for the other two. Paarthurnax was dissapointing because he was too busy finishing a sentence to fight me while I was hacking off 90% of his health.

I liked the emperor kill. The fact that you had just aproached him when all those mercs were supposed to be protecting him showed how skilled you were as an assasin, his death was certain. He took with great dignity, showed no fear and accepted his fate. There was nothing else he could have done in the circumstances and it shows his as a very good character.

Alduin was my most dissapointing kill, followed by Paarthurnax. I reloaded after killing him and let him live because I felt bad.

After Alduin, I recently remembered another very unsatisfying kill. Bunnies.

I somehow killed one once, I only noticed because I saw it on my General Stats page. But I'm glad I've only made that mistake on one character.

I would have to say the Emperor was the least satisfying. The build up was awesome but once I reached him....I was uninspired. I carried out my orders however I also did as the Emperor requested which made things a little better.

Same with me.

Ancano was my least satisfying. I expected a heavy duty fight, but no. I charged in, swung my axe, and "off with his head!" That perk had never worked before, and I tried to get it to happen many many times. It hasn't worked since. I thought it was stupid that my character was made arch mage. His most powerful spell was adept level...still is. His highest magic skill was 38. They should have made a skill level requirement to do that quest.

I was surprised when i talk to that emperor speaking like he already knew that I would kill him that night and accepted his faith.

The Dark Brotherhood are the only people I don't like to kill, everyone else is fair game though. :gun: :ahhh:

Commander Maro was my least satisfying kill. I was expecting a nice fun encounter once I reached the docks to face him.

Not even the option to go into Dialog. Go to talk to him, and you get the cliche' "You're supposed to be dead!" A good back and fourth dialog would have been worth his calling the guards to help attempting to dispatch me.

I assumed killing the Emperor was going to be anti-climatic. Hes a soft man whos job is to talk and deligate. Now, If I was to kill Nord King, or Jarl, that might've actually been a fight. Balgruf in the Battle of Whiterun puts up a fun. But at least the Emperor talks to you, knows hes going to die. It would've been worse, if when assassinating the emperor, its just another throat slice.. or tiny cut while he lays in bed

im only 34 so i know im still low to see elder or ancient dragons, but blood and frost have become unsatisfying in general. 2 or less hits and any dragon i have seen is dead.

Least satisfying kill for me was Ancano at the end of the College of Winterhold quest line. I thought he'd be a little more powerful, especially considering his tampering with the Eye. But I one-shotted him with a dual-casted Thunderbolt. He disintegrated. Was rather an abrupt and anticlimactic ending to an otherwise pulse-pounding final mission...

Emperor hands down... but I'm pretty sure it was meant to be that way because of the pain in the butt it was just to get to him.

Alduin wasn't much of a let down, if you played the difficulty right. Also, Alduin and the story quest are only a miniscule part of the Skyrim experience. In truth I found it much easier, and more fluid to the story as a whole, to complete the main quest ASAP and then spend the rest of my days with the various Radiant and Faction quests.

The Emperor, easily.

I was only doing the 'Brotherhood line for Muiri, and Shadowmere originally, but I decided to just finish it for the achievements.

As an Imperial player, who sided with the legion, and is staunchly anti-Thalmor.. It wasn't very fun.

The only good that can come from it is for the Thalmor. I don't see how the Thalmor wouldn't exploit the loss of the Emperor. It would be an amazing blow against the empire, and Humanity as a whole.

Which is why i'm not doing it on this save. Balls to that! =P

But I suppose Parthurnaxx would be worse for me. When Esbern asked me to kill him I Fus-Roh-Dah'd the old bastard off of Alduin's Wall and onto the dining table below. Then I stole Dragonbane, his Dragon Atlas, and took Lydia back and lol'd as I ran out of the temple.

Dragons in general, I have more fun killing a Giant than I do a dragon. To me everytime I see I dragon I try to let it just fly away if I can, its just another shout once I get the shout to spend that soul on.

I noticed you can sneak attack Paarthurnax when hes perched on the word wall

Stabbed him in the back multiple times, no response even though technically he was dead already

Punched him in the face, he lift off and immediately crashed and died :stare:

I felt bad, quickload to the rescue!

Mercer. He got stuck on a rock, and ran without moving while I shot him. Total letdown.

Ancano.... Was finished off by a magic anomaly. Those things could probably beat a dragon one on one.
