Your LEAST satisfying kill?

Post » Wed May 30, 2012 9:38 pm

I would have to say the Emperor was the least satisfying. The build up was awesome but once I reached him....I was uninspired. I carried out my orders however I also did as the Emperor requested which made things a little better.

What was your least satisfying kill?

Tullius is not the Emperor, he's talking about Titus Mede II.

But I have to agree with the OP. I was really upset when he just accepted his death like it was nothing...
What I really liked was the Gourmet kill... I blasted him into the lake with Unrelenting Force after I sliced his throat

Pretty sure he means Emperor Titus Mede II.

And yes I agree, very dissatisfying kill for me as well.

For me most of the stuff I got from the brotherhood was just cruel to do. Some of the victims deserved it, when seen from a medieval perspective and the overall less squeamish attitude of these times towards killing someone.

But the really sadest thing was the contract to kill the orc bard. I literally dream about this.

Alone this is a reason for me to skip the brotherhood in a new game, respectively help to destroy them.

"Oh, so you want me to slaughter a poor, defenseless beggar in his sleep? A man by the name of Narfi who all but lost his mind when his beloved sister Reyda went missing and has been mourning her ever since? The same guy who's dressed in nothing but tattered rags and lives in a demolished shack? Are you sure? Okay, Dark Brotherhood. Whatever you say." You never even find out what pathetic excuse for a human being would want to have a broken shell of a man killed in cold blood.

lol. He fought until defeat with me.

After I defeated Tullius, I got one of those feelings: "What have I done?"

Skeletons are no fun to me. They require no effort and induce no real sense of threat.

Krosis was mine. I hit him with an arrow that did knockback/critical damage and he fell off the cliff behind him. He spent the next couple of minutes shooting fireballs at the underside of the ledge I was on while rained arrows down on him. I was only a level 15 or so at the time, and expected a more epic battle....

Alduin. Way too easy, and they didn't even bother making him any different from a normal dragon combat/strategy wise. Having the three heroes with you to fight him was overkill. Nevermind the fact that they suddenly are now able to stand up to Alduin without being trashed for no apparent reason. Even Tsun, could solo Alduin. Why was he such a threat again?

Might not fit your actual question but my least favorite kill was when I first tested out one of the extra Destructo spells you can go learn and I didn't realize it would be an AOE spell from my location and I killed my follower.

I am in the same boat as you I was hoping for a serious one on one battle to the death with Alduin. He should have at least been as strong as three ancient dragons combined. I killed him rather quickly, well how hard can it be with three powerful warriors helping you and the shout dragonrend. Not only he should have been more powerful , he should have been much larger than other dragons, to show his suposed greater power and might. Also the Dragonrend shout should have lasted a lot less time against him in sovenguard. Thats where he was getting souls to increase his power.

Gotta say, my least satisfying kill was the Emporer. I actually found it sad, acutally.

That said, HOW THE HELL CAN YOU KILL PARTHANAXX ? The blades wanted me to and I flat told 'em to kiss my Redguard backside and refused. :)

Tie between the Emperor, Ulfric Stormcloak and Paarthurnax.

Paarthurnax because I exploited the glitch where NPCs don't start combat with you until they finish dialogue if you exit dialogue early. 90% health gone by the time he finished talking, Dragonrend, slice, done.

Emperor. Killed him in two hits, got a 40 bounty for KILLING THE FRIGGIN EMPEROR! Then it was taken away as I killed my last witness.

Ulfric, I got him before he even left his throne. Then I took down Galmar.
