Nothing compares to Oblivion's announcement and the flood of forum trash that came in. The moderators were very overworked and taxed in those days too and quick to anger. Those were dark times. Since then the so called dark ages have all been rather civil and well policed.

They confirmed that they are announcing a new Zelda. It starts at 10 EST.

That was before my time here, so I'll take your word for it.

That's still on. Thankfully not as often though. But Jesus Christ, I remember when New Vegas first hit all the debates. I thought THOSE were bad, but DAMN, those were nothing compared to those bloody Civil War threads.

Looking at some of his more recent stuff, he seems to agree with the consensus here that Sony knocked it out of the park tonight.

True, but it's still telling when someone outside of the forum in his position agrees. Confirmation bias can be an insidious thing.
