Good, I've been wanting to play MGS, but they were PS exclusives (Until now.) And since I will get a PS4, I was worried that MGS V was going to be Xbox exclusive. (Mainly because it was the first game shown in the Xbox One presentation.)
Speaking of which, MGS V does seem interesting. And I can see older fans not wanting major changes such as open world. Let's see how it goes.
Cleaned up the OP: Added what summer said about console bashing, added E3 coverage links for the major gaming sites (if I missed one, let me know) and added the other pressers from earlier.
Oh hands down. I still want Dead State as equally. *sigh*
This year both svcks and is amazing for gaming. svcks because none of this awesome stuff is happening this year. Awesome because next year will be something to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAZpjWZRNAc.
We've had a good run of years that has seen some truly amazing games be released. I guess we were due for a bit of an intermission.
Nah the ESO forum is nothing. I was here when Oblivion hit. I remember. Back when this small community didn't have as much moderators and... boy those were dark times.
People may fear they might get another Skyrim. In that case they have every right to fear they might get another consolized product. The Skyrim UI on PC was disgusting as were the visuals.
Yes and no. No, the old games are not backwards-compatible; you won't be able to put a PS3 disc into a PS4 and play it. Yes in that they intend on making PS3 games available on their Gaikai cloud service. It remains to be seen how good that will be, but I'm just as disappointed as everyone else by the lack of BC.
As for older ones...haven't heard a damn thing. I highly doubt it.
Hey, don't forget E3 2011 in the Skyrim forums...
Not to mention the "Fallout 3 vs. New Vegas" era.
Hahahaha xbox conference summary partially. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwjsYJWrvtE
On a side note, Battlefield 4 looks better than 3 which is exciting to me. Improved destruction is a big deal. Need to see more though.
