its super nice that they'd offered the services for free in the past, but they do have a legitimate right to try to take in passive income to pay for the expenses related to operating servers. and its a reasonable price i'd say, and they don't force you to get it if you are only looking to play single player games.

I wouldn't have anywhere near the problem I do with QTEs if they took the [censored] buttons off the screen and just put the moves in the hint booklet. How hard is it to say "When the game slows down and your character automatically attempts to stomp on the fallen enemies face, press Y to finish the cutscene."
