having worked in a customer service situation, it is completely pointless to base your opinion based of customer service calls. most employees, regardless of where they work, don't give a flying consideration about your troubles. The good ones just make it seem like they aren't imagining themselves bashing your brains out.

I bought an XBox 360 back in 2009 - I picked it over the PS3 mainly because the available titles at that time were more appealing to me. I almost never use it anymore since I picked up a decent gaming PC in 2010, which I have steadily upgraded to keep up. I don't expect that I'll be buying another console any time soon - I suspect that it would just gather dust like my 360 does now. But if I had to pick one, I'd definitely go for the PS4.

I'm the same.I see no point in playing on a lesser product when i have a pretty decent PC rig,which will out perform a console at every turn.If i was to buy a console i would be all over the PS4.

you know it is kind of sad when there is thunderous applause for no other reason than because they announced their games will be using an inferior format (disc based) over a superior one just because another entity is trying to abuse DD as a format. Digital download and cloud based gaming would be a huge leap if most people trying to incorporate it would just refrain from taking advantage of the ability to make consumers buy the same product multiple times or turning "ownership" into a "service"

i was just saying just because you get a bad customer service call for a company doesn't mean that person actually represents the companies appreciation for their customer base. they are phone jockeys, none of them care about your problem any more than a random guy on the street. the difference is they get paid for sounding like they care.

Is there a link to the Sony E3 conference? I didn't pay much attention to E3, but I'm curious to see the Sony conference for myself after browsing through all these responses.. I half-regret not keeping tabs on it now.

I didn't mean it in that sense. I meant more along the lines of that the guy didn't take an hour to try and solve the problem. I described it and he seemed to know what it was and sent me on my way.

They're probably going to have both digital and disc versions, like the PS3. Disc based games aren't (and shouldn't) going away until the internet infrastructure is much better.
