this is either:
1) Troll - 50% likely
2) Peter Hines in disguise - 30% likely
3) Genuine idiot - 20% likely

Ohh I'm trolling because I'm supporting skyrim...Ahhh what? I guess I can put you under the "ES snob" category as well. Obviously the bugs have affected you deeply so I suggest you return it.

Bethesda this game is a masterpiece. It has its glitches but looking forward to the patch.

Doko thinks you sound stupid ignoring the topic and discussion and instead trying to insult someone over the internet via a forum.

On topic:
Yes many reviewers have finished the main quest, and several friends of Doko who have no lives also have. Granted they resorted to restarting their ps3 every 5 hours.

The lag was not fluttery, it started as such which I shrugged off. It eventually grew into a snapshot after snapshot of still images and 1-5 second full stops. Impossible to do anything, attack keys didnt work, option menus failed to do anything unless spammed 10 to 20 times. Shutting the ps3 off and coming back the next day solved the issue for Doko.

That is interesting. I did the rebuild function on the PS3 and although my PS3 ran nice and zippy afterwards, it made no difference to my Skyrim gameplay.. or should I say lack thereof. :( How many hours have you invested? I'm sitting at 23 hours, give or take a few minutes.

Multiple toons, range from 2-40 hours game time played testing various methods to find what is causing the said lag.
Although Doko upgraded his hard drive might be effecting it in that regard, Doko does play on an old 80gb(upped to 350gb) fat ps3

The broken character mentioned earlier was at about 6-7 hours real time non-stop.

I'm 30 hrs in at 8mb and the fixes aren't doing much for me. I get issues pretty much immediately when I'm playng. Sprinting in the overmap always causes stuttering.

When doko writes in the 3rd person I imagine him sounding like snarf from thundercats.

Also haves ps3 slim with a good amount of stuff on it from a plethora of games to NFL Sunday ticket. Not sure if that the issue as some gamers were saying a brand new ps3 running skyrim and only skyrim ran cripple free.

Either way reviewers need to change their score for the ps3 version to acknowledge the brokenness.

I'm not sayin blast the xbox or pc versions. I'm saying the ps3 version reviews should reflect te brokeness of the game. O agree the game is awesome buy ur anlittle to googly eyed to see the bigger picture.

Skyrim reminds me of one of the SOCOM 2 reviews for the PS3. Basically, it stated that when a publisher throws a game to the masses, the game should be reviewed based on what it is, not on what it might become 3, 4 or 6 months down the road with patches.

Agreed, OP.
They should at least mention the catastrophic release state and lower the score for Bethesda's perky behaviour towards their customers.

I bought the game on Thursday, and played it this weekend till I got the problem. I'm 26 hours in. I noticed the lag maybe about the 20 hour mark. Also, my save file was pretty big for not playing as much as other people. I'm at just over 8 megs now I think. i guess too much exploring and running around and finding quests that I've yet to complete, and a bunch of items I have stored in my home, blew up the size of my save file even faster than normal.

If ANY review had the honesty to mention this game breaking bug, I would own a Xbox360 and Skyrim right now, instead of a PS3 and a game that starts chugging after about 20 minutes of play. I paid money for a game and an entire console just to play, and expect the game to not break after playing it. Others may put up with it and keep restarting their system, but that's nowhere near acceptable in my opinion.

Of course the reviews should change their score, otherwise more people like me will keep buying the game completely unawares.
