Hm, mine changed to 'dispatching soon' sometime this morning, and is still estimated at 11th Nov.

The only people failing are Royal Fail (or the American equivalent), Amazon are generally fine.

I ordered the CE of the guide from Amazon last Tuesday, with 2 day shipping applied. Amazon now states that I should receive the guide on the 14th.

Nice huh...

No..., Amazon is "not" generally fine....

They are over tasked and under manned, and they run their business like a grocery store does ( Usually 5 checkers with 15 check-out stalls empty)... :swear:

"Shipping Soon" on amazon for a delivery date of 11/11/11 in CO, USA. I've had problems with amazon in the past meeting release day delivery, but that was FedEx's fault. Now that they've gone to UPS, i haven't had any issues with over 20+ games.

I did Release Day with Amazon (US) and at this moment it says "Shipping Soon" and has Nov 11 as estimated delivery.

It said that for New Vegas last year and it arrived on release date

Be careful with Amazon, as unless you pay for next day shipping you are going to get the game way late.
Also, even with next day shipping there is still a processing time.

WRONG!! I live in uk and ordered 1st class it was dispatched yesterday and i DID NOT get skyrim today, royal mail are so useless

Likewise although I ordered from a different company, I'll definitely be using digital for my next purchase even if I have to pay ￡10 more. I'll be missing out playing early in the morning it seems.

I also pre-ordered from amazon UK and selected 1st class. They dispatched yesterday and normally it would definitely arrive the day after (today) but nothing. They probably waited until after the last delivery collection and then forwarded our post to be collected first thing this morning lol.

I heard shopto sent theirs out a few days ago so I'll know what to do next time.

I'm buying a PS3 version from amazon.co.uk with delivery to germany (because I'm german but want to play the game in english). It says "Dispatching soon" in the description, as it's about to be dispatched today. I hope they hurry up. Because delivery estimate says 11 Nov 2011, and I payed loads of money just for the special "One-Day Delivery to Germany". So I better get it tomorrow, or I'll write Amazon that I want my money back

Same for me, and I live in the UK, so will take even longer to reach me. But it's the game I'm concerned about, and that has been dispatched (from Amazon UK).

Ditto. If I remember correctly, next day delivery is anywhere between 5 to 7 pounds. But if you want it on launch day, then First Class is a real no go.

Release day shipping for non prime members is 99 cents.

My order placed at beginning of August just went to 'shipping soon'; delivery estimate still 11/11, so I'm assuming it will arrive sometime tomorrow.

To whomever asked if UPS was open on Veteran's day, being a UPS employee I can confirm they are. On a side note, if anyone's order is comes through the Knoxville hub and I notice it, it may not make it. :ninja:

How hard is this to understand? Unless you specifically chose RELEASE DATE DELIVERY, chances are you won't get it until next week. Priority or next day shipping will NOT guarantee it on the 11th.

EDIT: and UPS delivers on minor holidays, so no worries about it being Veterans day. Seriously, people, just relax.

They have all day today to ship it. if it hasn't shipped by 5pm tonight, then I'd start being concerned. On a side note, occasionally, albeit rarely, I've actually received items from Amazon before they updated their system that it was shipped.
