I can't believe it! Amazon has still not dispatched Skyrim to me and now they state: expected delivery date: 12th november!

Did you order with first class delivery?, because most people who ordered on first class are getting the delivery estimate changed to the 12th.

Wednesday night I ordered Skyrim off of Amazon and chose release date delivery... My estimated delivery date is still Friday, November 11th, though it has not shipped yet.

Do you live in the U.S.? Because the 11th of November is Veteran's Day here.

Not sure if the Postal Service is running on Veteran's Day or not... could be why the delivery date has changed.

Mine only now says processing for dispatch but If my husband phones and tells me Game have said I can still pre-order (to get the map) and pick it up at midnight I might just cancel Amazon and venture out in the cold tonight despite the fact that tomorrow is the only morning in the week where I go running with someone else......maybe it will rain (fingers crossed) as I know they wont want to go then :evil:

...........or maybe I can convince my husband to go for me........Last day nerves are driving me :wacko:

The GameStop that I go to here in the U.S. texted me last night telling me to be there @ 10pm for the midnight release. So excited.

I really hope Amazon comes through for you all.

It's official. I've cancelled my pre-order I've had since April with Amazon because they svck and I'm impatient.

Attending my local Game midnight release instead, still get the map as it's pre-ordered. Good god what have I just let myself in for weirdo wise.....no offence......oh wait what does that make me?........ :ahhh:

If anyone has ever had release date delivery with amazon.com in the U.S. they should know that it ships the day before with overnight shipping. This has been the case for every game I have pre-ordered.

Well Done Amazon!

Pre-ordered this game...possibly the biggest RPG release of the year...about 2 months ago or so..

Was informed about 20.30 hrs last night that they had dispatched the order and lo and behold..just came in the post this morning..
So..thuimbs up to Amazon for a good job well done.

Now the only problem is having to wait for steam to unlock to allow install....that's something that definitely needs work...

The only people failing are Royal Fail (or the American equivalent), Amazon are generally fine.

Yes and no. A release game? Agreed, way overpriced. But further down the line, they do have some nice sales during Summer/Winter.
