Couldn't find a thread on this. I haven't been following Anon too much, not really impressed by these people but have they ever released a video like this on YouTube? It's just so.... movie like

Just thought we could discuss it  I know they've said this before, but this time they made a rather poor "video" about it! :o

The narrator suggests that anyone who supports the cause download a program in order to participate in a Facebook attack.

 I wonder how many will fall for it.

Comment about angry-basemant dwellers still stands. I find the "Mass media lies!" comment to be quite cute. It reminds me of a slightly nutty fellow sitting in the basemant with a tin-foil hat to stop "the government" from reading his thoughts.

If anyone bothers to read the link

https://twitter.com/#!/anonops/status/161535637542019072

denies that this video has anything to do with Anonymous: "Again we must say that we will not attack #Facebook! Again the mass media lie."

Expecting people on the internet to read an entire article. What nonsense. :P

Silly protest - who cares if FB is busy for an hour or two?
How about a protest to take Steam down? That would get a bigger outcry. Imagine millions of gamers at a loss at what to do for couple of hours?
Then we'd have revolution and rioting in the streets.

On a side note: These attacks are why the government and it's corporate owners are writing all these bills to be able to track, prevent and punish offenders.

Seems like there must be two different branches of "Anonymous" going on here: One who hacks or brings down websites out of noble intentions, and the other who just does it "for the lulz"... :ermm:

Sick of these guys. They just make the internet look bad. Their method is unimpressive, their targets are undeserving, and their ego is unmatched.

Because the internet is this super-serious place where no fun can be had?

Um they tried to take down Facebook before and failed.

Yet they took down the FBI and Department of Justice sites did they not? If you ask me thats pretty sad that Facebook has better internet security then the FBI and Department of Justice.

Guessing thats code for budget cuts? Its the United States Government. They should be able to stop some computer nerds from messing with their website.
