I think its [censored]. So they think I should feel as though I need someone else, to enjoy my life, or im ill. I would rather be my apathetic self tbh.

Your link is screwy.

Mentally ill? No. Curmudgeonly? Misanthropic?

Maybe.

Japanese are only saying that because they need to get their birth rates up.

I imagine Japan's declining birth rate has something to do with this line of thinking.

I'd rather get a car right now than a girlfriend - I don't think I'm mentally ill, I just don't have the time.
6AM -6PM is work then from 6:01PM - 11PM is my free time which isn't much to give to anyone bar myself.
A car seems more appealing than getting a girlfriend to be honest.

I think there is a difference, between not caring/feeling you dont need a GF. And walking around with an anime character on a pillow.

Im being put in the same catagory as those people. I dont like it.

Birth rates are dropping in lots of places. I bet the UK gets most of its births from immigrants, allthough I do see quite alot of pregnant teens :/

I think people are just more interested in other things, and they live lonfer, so they put off the idea of having children. Hell I dont want kids at all, they just scream, cry, smell, eat and sleep.

If I was a immigrant and I got £500 to pop out a kid in a country that I don't actually like but my country svcks worse - I'd be popping out kids left right and centre....wait that's what they're doing already

But when you become old and frail they will be changing your nappies instead of the other way about - think about it after 30 -50 odd years they'll be swapping places with you.

I think NOTHING about that. The report is way too short. It doesn't state anything.

I'd like a girlfriend, I've had one and it was nice. I find people who have a pathological need to be validated by a relationship odd. There's nothing more pathetic than a guy who's completely whipped by his girlfriend, it makes me sick!

Lets change the subject, the topic can get pretty bad.

I would kill myself long before getting to the point you mentioned.

Yes yes off the touchy subject

Yeah I'd probably rather die that get in that state, but likewise they'd still be caring for you in someway...possibly

Yeah I can't help but feel let down when a mate whos made plans with you suddenly changes them because his girl has came back to Glasgow for the weekend but he says her regularly anyway unlike the rest of his mates he only sees like once a month.

Article says:
You could be suffering from a type of illness.

One way to look at article is that it specifically says you are too ugly to get laid :D

Ok, classic example. Guy is out with friends drinking. Gets a call from his girlfriend, then says "Sorry guys, got to go my girlfriend's just got home." People that can't function as an individual, they're so insecure and needy that they need "someone" to constantly be there.

I'm very thankful to my parents for showing my siblings and I that relationships come along, you don't a girlfriend at 12, it's ridiculous. That means I have grown up to be an independent and free thinking individual.

You dont know the full story. He could have a good reason to go home.
Also you could argue the friends are being needy, if they have an issue with a guy spending time with his GF.

It's a friend of mine I'm talking about and it was on more than 1 occasion. There needs to be a balance between "friend" time and "girl" friend time. None of use cared. I just find it hilarious that someone gets a girlfriend and then completely changes and forgets about his friends.

Trust me, there are a lot of those sorts out there. They've been in relationships since they were 14 and don't know how to function without them.
