Oh noes, the 40 year old virgins trying to insult me.

Bring your detective skills up before you bother pressing the "Submit" button again. Didnt think you oldies could get worked up over a few minor problems with the game. If youve been gaming for as long as you make it seem then you would know that tons of games have problems like this when they are released.

Please continue your raging

If by "minor issues" you mean poor graphics, one-way corridor gameplay, no support for latest DX (but 2 years old) standard and almost no user control of graphics then yes. However they are not normally patched, seeing as, well, its gameplay and engine, and instead is normally classified as a "bad game".

Are you Mother **** BLIND ! the graphics are amazing ! ... i know there not as good as they can be but this is the best graphics i have ever seen THEY ARE BETTER THAN Crysis ! All lot of you pc Gamers are so nit picky and the only reason why you hate it is because :

- You svck at it
- You dont have it
- your a ****
- the game doesn't use your Graphics card to its fullest potential *
- Your SAD :'( that it's no longer exclusive
- Or your not into the theme and or the genre (FPS)
- Network Problems
- lack of auto aim for joysticks
- you bought a brand new Expensive rig just for crysis and they didnt even use one Gpu.

You like to like it but you dont like it... so MOVE ON go find a girl friend and tell her about your problems.

The gameplay is fine innovative and fun there nothing not to like here. Just stop whining and go back to your battle field nobody wants to hear it (read).

While he's certainly entitled to his opinions, this is by far the most bush league attempt at a journalism I had ever seen. I'm ashamed to be in the business after reading something like that.

cs: cal-im in early seasons (when im was still good)
source: cal-o season 1 going main, but got banned
cod4: cal-m (when CAL shut down) cevo-o (left my team cause game got boring and my team later went on to finish 2nd cevo-p the next season)
BO: ranked #8 in NA according to e-rev (before game died competitively)

Yea, minor issues. Compare this release to BO's release this is great. Stop complaining and play. Or just return the game. If the **** isnt fixed within a few weeks then you guys can rage, but its only day #2 so keep your panties on.

Guys act like its the end of the world... get a gf.

Why exactly do you think a give a flying f*** about what teams you have played in? And why does that lend any sort of weight to an argument about a single player game?

Please explain to me (I mean explain, not spout what teams you've been in). Why the entire gameplay being crap and the graphics at max being worse than the 4 year old original are "minor issues" that can be patched? Do you think they can patch the entire game engine and the entire single player portion of the game. That would take an entire new game.

Oh and now you're comparing it to CoD BO, suppose that does show you what type of game this is...

Seems to me you read my statements so you only comprehend what you want to.

1. You called me a "cal-o scurb" (scrub?) so unless you got more competitive FPS experience than i have, you can have a seat and put your "cal-o" card back in your hard because its invalid against me.

2. I was comparing the games release with BO, not the game itself. If you played BO you would know about all the major problems the game had and that only a few things were fixed.

3. Gameplay being crap is subjective. I love the SP (although i dont get why it didnt give a backstory to Crysis) and MP is fun even though its going to take some transition from the normal games i play. I have no FPS problems, no glitches/bugs that i am aware of yet, no crashes. So as of right now this game is pretty solid. The graphics option is silly, but as tons of people have said, that can be fixed. DX11 can be patched in and im pretty sure theyll be fixing a lot of the problems everyone is raging about.

As i said, its only Day #2 so keep your panties on and if its been a few weeks then you can rage.

Crying like this doesnt solve anything solve anything so return the game, stfu & play or just leave

That review was pretty ****. It didn't really state anything useful. Crysis 2 has it's issues, but this guy (who I've never heard of before) just sounded like a raging fanboy/graphics whore who didn't review the actual game.

1. Please read who called you a "cal-o-scrub", it was not me.

2. I feel inclined to point out that the BO problems were to do with stuttering frame rates and multiplayer connection issues, among others. Not the fundamentals of gameplay and graphics.

3. Fair enough, it is subjective. Although you have to admit that the open world, large level gameplay is vastly reduced. As I alluded to in 2 I am not worried about bugs. Simply gameplay. The real question though is, for what was allegedly (we can see it was simply not the case though) a PC lead title, does it not feature these very basic elements, especially when coming from such a (previously) good PC developer.

LOL cal-im...LOL source...LOL cod. you must be one of those esea puggers with 80adr that brags that he was ONCE good. lol get real ugly.

back on topic though; game is unfinished, incomplete, wte you wanna call it.

would you buy a car with missing wheels?

a company of crytek's reputation, one would hold high expectations (and the lack of communication from Crytek is astounding). it's like Porsche releasing a halfassed car and it's fans getting 'raged' about it...OF COURSE PEOPLE WOULD BE UPSET.

1. My mistake then

2. Graphics were crap and utilized your CPU more than your GPU and even when they "fixed" the problem, it wouldnt utilize the GPUs to their max potential.

3. I am not a diehard Crysis fan so i wouldnt know much about the gameplay from Wars, but for someone just coming into the crysis scene the gameplay is fine. I do hate when i die when im clearly behind a wall when im shot or beat down when i have clearly jumped over someone (latency issues...?). Im sure they can always introduce a map pack like most games do now, but the question would be if youd have to pay for it or not.

Oh, im sorry. Who are you again?

Pretty sure COD4 & BO are recent games.

Back on topic. This is a video game, not a car. Nice comparison champ. Day #2, community managers may be trying to figure out what they are doing with the game before they release any sort of announcement.

Come back into the thread when you know the difference between a $60 product and a $100,000 one.

Thank you Kyle for saying what "other" PC sites are not allowed to say

now just have to wait to see what Tweakguides.com has been able to find
I expect Koroush to say "meh..not gona bother, just trash it or put it in a xbox"

tips for the PC gamers that didn't know about the HardOCP site.
Tweakguides.com is as the name says
alt+F4 will give you god mode in most games
typing msconfig can be very handy
same for regedit but you can break "stuff" if not careful

As an artist in the game industry, the only real reply is: You could make better. You really could.

Appreciate that the game is good on most fronts, ok it's graphics aren't DX11 OH MY GOD, but why pull the game apart for that? I don't see this intense rage and cynicism being necessary. The fact of the matter is that a lot of work was put into the game, appreciate it.
