Armoured trolls are actually worth 500 gold, see what I did there?

I agree, why would I ever use a follower I can't bring around any friendlies?
i brought my troll everywhere, in town, everywhere, and he was just fine.

And about it dying quick ,i went up against an elder dragon on master, and my troll only lost half health...this on master, i dunno how people are losing theirs that quickly, bafling, the only problem i have is he is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too slow....

I would have liked if Beth would've added more pups that could follow you not just the two.

They are pretty cute IMO, I even named the first one tho when it got flattened by a dragon landing on it I stopped naming them, on my 5th one now I think tho they only die when i get bored and decide to destroy them for my amusemant.

biggest thing I have against it is its movement, seems to have trouble following me. but otherwise I like it

Pretty much like any follower in game then lol

I take mine into towns, they won't harm anyone

Hmmm, well I wouldn't be surprised to learn that not everyone in skyrim finds trolls dangerous.

Since http://www.imperial-library.info/content/poorly-scrawled-note, I imagine that in the lore, people make manipulative deals with trolls every once in awhile.

Like with the trolls in The Witcher II, I'd guess trolls would work so their basic animal instincts or new desires could be well fulfilled.

For me they horribly weak - I go into a cave and all it took was 2 shock spells from a master vampire and he was left dead smashed on the wall - a troll... smashed on the wall.
And just to add salt to the wound later on the day the game tells me "your armoured troll leaves your service" - in my head im just thinkin "piss off you worthless [censored] you didnt do me any good in the first place"

These days I just stick to my dog, much more reliable.

my troll seemed to survive quite a bit of damage, and 500 isnt really alot, considering how easy it is to earn money. and at least they respawn as well, i was hoping the huskies would too

Seriously, if you going to make us spend 500 gold for a pet at least make it last more than 2 hits.

Why you made a melee character with so few hit points is beyond me and is just plain stupid.

500 gold is pretty cheap. After doing 130 Thieves Guild Side jobs (I WANTED THAT SAFE!) I ended up with a ton of gold. Currently am at about 110k and have been able to buy anything I ever wanted (which isn't much, lol).

Armored Trolls need to scale with the player even when they are way above level 50 (which I believe is the highest companions scale to)
