I can't get this mod to work, i've tried both methods. Using the first, after I've placed the arrowsmith.esp in the Data folder, it doesn't show up when i go into Data Files from the Skyrim Launcher. I tried the other method too, editing the plugin.txt and still no dice, none of the option are there when i go to the forge.

Any ideas?

I am not finding the "fire wood" that is needed. Where do I get this? Do I need to do a chop wood activity to "create" the fire wood?

I'm not supporting the Nexus Network anymore. The administrator IP banned me for an extremely minor offense months ago.

Yes. Just about every town has some place that lets you chop wood.
I always go to the chopping block next to the general store in Whiterun.

Could i make a request to this awesome mod?

I would like to ask if you could include the option to use Arrows to make fletching as well. What i am meaning is:

You take, lets say 25 Iron Arrows and strip them of their fletching at the Tanning rack.

I am asking because i am playing an Archer and being close to level 50, i find myself in need of a lot of high quality arrows, otherwise i don't exactly need to bother about sniping anymore, but i find a plenthora of Fornsword and Farmer arrows and all kind of Steel and Iron ones on enemies. Only real highlevel enemies carry the good arrows. So i am having a lot of Arrows loitering around which i am basically using on small game and these things while i am traveling. I don't exactly have figure out a good source of Feathers, Quils or Hagravens to keep up a good revenue. Stripping lower quality arrows of their fletching seems to be the easiest way.

That's not a bad idea, but I don't have any plans to do any more updates for a while.
If you'd like to try it yourself, you can look at the tutorial on making recipes here: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1286593-tutorial-making-new-smithing-recipes-pre-ck/
All you would need to do is duplicate one of the COBJ records for making fletchings out of feathers, then on the new records change the feathers IDs to arrows.

I was thinking of doing this myself when the CK is *finally* (please beth) released. Break down any type of arrow (maybe in bundles of 20?) at the tanning rack into fletchings, and into wood/ore parts as well if it will allow more than one type of item to be returned. Would be a good way to use up all the iron, steel, forsworn, etc.

Samutz,

Thank you for this Excellent work!

Bethesda should hire you, since apparently no one on their team thought this should have been in there in the first place?!?!? Wasn't this in Morrowind by default, or did I mod that too?

Sorry to hear about Nexus banning you. I loved your mod, but I don't do Steam Workshop. It's not an absolute never-say-die boycott, just abstention until some concerns are addressed the right way.

Whichever way, I hope for a good resolution of that soon. In the meantime, thanks for also hosting your mods outside SW, as you have on Curse.
