AC3 is going to be a good game. The setting seems so interesting. I'm glad that concept art turned out to be real.

I was hoping they wouldn't bring it closer to the modern era. I would have preferred Rome or even something like Japan during the Boshin war, the Meiji Empire would have made decent Templars.

They have to bring it closer to the modern era, and they have to move it into America: Desmond is American so must have American ancestry, and the story is based around them using their ancestors to solve something that's going to happen in 2012, so they have to keep moving forward in time.

Funny I am a Junior with a similar potential route except it is more in Ancient Civilizations, though I am having doubts now and may change even though it is last minute. What are you planning to do after writing your Thesis?

Well there are many options available. I could (and most likely will) enter the workforce (most likely in a museum or some sort of research assistant). However, I will at some point be going back to school (I want to pay off some debt first). Either finishing my teacher degree and religious studies degree as well or attending grad school. I was/am a potential triple major student but I'm in need of a break from school. I want to get my feet wet in an actual job that has some potential meaning (opposed to where I'm working now at least).

I have not made the best decisions in my college career so far. Have goo grades though. I followed two interests so now I am sitting with a two 2/3 done majors though one could be a minor, but I do not see either of them complimenting one another. Marine Biology and History. Still trying to figure out which one is worth it in the end. I guess some of the Biology I know can compliment History but idk how History would compliment Marine Biology. Fml.

It's funny because earlier in the thread tgl1992 posted that article, and the next post I posted the box art. Skimming FTW.

I'm not sure what to expect of it. I thought Revelations had too much guns and explosives.

But it's an AC game so I'll buy it.

Looks excellent! I would've liked a female assassin this time 'round, but hey, this guy's cool.

So the three major cities will likely be Philadelphia, Boston, and New York. The plans of those cities in revolutionary times were fairly dense with thin back alleys and some larger churches/state houses/ and landmarks. They can certainly get some good parkour going in this setting.

I hope they take a several smaller cities approach as with AC I and II... the one, larger city in Brotherhood and Revelations made a dent on framerate.

Not playing a game simply because it's popular seems a little bit ridiculous. Not buying the game because it's popular is the same as buying it because it's popular, you're letting other people's opinions make your decision for you. Food for thought.

Oh, I've demoed it. Nothing special, just felt like any Spiderman game minus the webs. I understand the sentiment, of course, but I grew out of that "We are different because we dress the same but don't dress like you." attitude long ago.
