Maybe the gameplay will be sort of like http://youtu.be/7NufHsmITjM?hd=1 ?
I certainly hope so. That may be the most amazing thing ever conceived.

I just pre-ordered the AC3 Freedom Edition. I have until October to actually save up the money I need to pay for it :P They better not delay the PC version this time though, like they did with Brotherhood and Revelations.

I think they need to bring it back to what made AC and AC2 great. I feel like they got caught up with the whole economy, side quests, tomb parts in Brotherhood and Revelations. Thus detracting from the main game itself.

Idk, I really enjoyed Brotherhood. The story was great. But yeah Revelations was more about side quests and taking over Templar areas. I think they tried to make AC: Revelations as full of content as they could. The story was short because they had a certain amount of it to tell, then it was done. It was short, but sweet.

I much preferred the first two games. Longer main quests and more focused. What annoyed me about brotherhood was the way that the assassinations were broken up in to loads of annoying little objectives. I liked the way that the first was 7 or 8 hour long assassinations, plus a few things in the middle.

I suspect that was because Brotherhood and Revelations were just made to continue Ezios story, and fit more of Desmonds in. They weren't intended to make huge gameplay/story advancements.

Am very much looking forward to this game. All other games with a colonial setting haven't been what I wanted them to be. I have big hopes that this game will deliver.

Of course I know that they are going to be going back and forth between modern day and colonial day setting but I will be able to put up with that a long as the colonial part is amazingly spectacular.

I wonder how much Desmond time we will get, minimal would be the best.

Well, this was supposed to be the end of the trilogy and the final chapter of Desmond's story. But, it looks like they've thrown away the trilogy limit, so we might not be seeing as much with him as we would have.

Opinions are like buttholes, everyone has one that they don't think stinks but in reality they all stink to varying degrees for various people.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but this is a discussion of the new game. If you have nothing of value to say, don't comment.

I liked Assassins Creed 2, but I mostly tried to tune out every reference to "assassins vs templars" and try to enjoy it as purely historical. The only modern part of Assassins Creed I liked were the glyph puzzles.

I really enjoyed all the history and people and places of interest they inform you of. I learned more in one day playing AC2 then I did in a week of history class. Lol.

Same. Also learned alot of latin and italian. I was the only kid in my latin class to know what "resquiscat in pace" was.

Not sure if ironic or just ignorant.

Either way, I won't forgive Ubisoft for this yearly release bullcrap, although I didn't actually buy Revelations, 'borrowed' it instead and realized I was better off having saved the money.

Granted, Since we're finally getting an iteration of the series, I WILL be picking it up. This is their last chance at bringing me back to their fold.

As always, I blame the CoD kiddies (:

How does knowing what "requiescat in pace" means ironic or ignorant?

Ignore him. He's very important and has a sense of entitlement. Ubisoft will be sorry if they don't satisfy him with AC3, haha.

Is the DLC worth it for Revelations? Does it add anything important or fun to the story?
