I like making a Khajiit as a light armoured warrior swordman / archer.

Orc, really doesn't matter.

I'm done with this game

I hate posts like this, "if you're so done with it, why are you here posting?"

I agree. I am totally fine with debating loss of features or what needs to added to the series, but pissing on the game or saying it just doesn't matter..... why did you even post or for that matter look at the game you hate so much on its official forum?

but more on-topic.... unarmed orc sounds so fun
anybody ever watch this???

Gameplay-wise, Bretons make the best warriors, in my opinion. Any race can become god-like with a weapon but the warrior's Achilles Heel is always their weakness to magic attacks. Breton's magic resistance is the perfect ability for a warrior.

Is it just me or do others find the Forsworn to seem the hardest enemies in the game? If so, then they are I think Breton racially.

Will soon provide pictural evidence of 3 dead dragons killed only by a few orcs

Here are two killed by me, no Orcs but I did use my Atronachs for distraction. That's my Nord warrior:

My Dark Elf is quite a bit tougher. Ancient Dragon eating Dragonbane:

Forsworn(Or reachmen as they are also called) aren't really any race. They're an amalgamation of breton/nord/redguard/ayleid/orc/dunmer/altmer(And possibly khajiit)

Redguards. Specifically the Ansei warriors.

Doesn't matter how well you fight if your opponent creates a nuclear explosion with his sword.(This is why Yokuda was blown apart and Redguards moved east)
That's not melee, but magic :D

As others have already stated, it doesn't really matter since it all evens out during the game. My high elf is a supreme Archer/Assassin. Yesss yeeessss.

Well, according to the CK, they're straight Breton, listed along with all the other Bretons.

IMO again, Khajiit. Mainly due to the sheer number of variety and how they can range from being huge as [censored], and weighting the same as 50 altmer to the common one we see in TES from Morrowind and upwards.

In Skyrim the game, yes, they are the best melee race.
In lore, there is no race which comes even close to be good as Redguards are.
Their Sword-Singers simply will own everything (not to mention if they are an Ansei).
Gods, I would love a DLC with a Sword-Singers guild!

Then why are you on this forum...

I play a Khajiit just because they're my favorite race.

I tried playing a Nord, and I went out to kill some bandits at night, and my response was basically "OMG I'M BLIND I CAN'T SEE!"

I'm a dual-wield warrior on my current Khajiit, regardless of how much "better" Redguards are for dual-wielding.

Eventually you get to a point where you do so much damage that the game is no longer fun. This is accomplished by being an over-achiever like I am and using Smithing/Enchanting/Alchemy. (easily one-shotting just about everything on Master difficulty). At that point, races don't matter, and I begin to tune down my character to make combat more enjoyable.

Nords are not the best melee warriors, just Redguards are.
Nordsa re more of all-around warriors instead of being specialized in one area.
A Redguard with a sword could own a Nord in a melee battle while sleeping.
When it comes to melee combat, no one can beat a Redguard.
Actually, only two race who can even think of fighting a Redguard armed with a sword are Orcs.

I'm not so convinced at this comment. Both the lore says they are mostly Breton and in the game the chef and his assistants in Markarth also make comment that the Forsworn are Breton. I also am of the understanding that when the devs make the game they use the races complete with their stats etc when making the NPC. The Forsworn NPC all look Breton.

Nords are not the best melee warriors, just Redguards are.

Redguard gets a starting bonus of +10 one handed but Nords get +10 two handed. Nords get +5 for Block, light armor, one-handed, smithing & speech.

Redguards get +5 for Block, smithing, archery, destruction & alteration.

Overall I'd say Nords get the more melee type skill bonuses.

I'm throwing down my vote for Argonian-- the Histoskin (sp?) racial is so powerful it hurts. Also, they look super-badass (see the pic in my sig)

Redguards. Well, it depends on if you want to use one handed, or two handed. one handed, for sure a redguard, two handed, an orc, nord, or maybe even an imperial, one handed are also good for imperials as well.

I'm talking about the lore.
In TES V, Orcs are the best melee race.

Also, about those bonuses.
Well... they don't mean anything, actually, since eventually all of races are pretty much equal at what they do (note that I'm just referring to skill bonuses, not racial abilities), and that kinds svcks.
Skill bonuses in races should be something like enchantments so they give +X to certain skill(s).
Meaning that a Redguard who has bonus of +10 to OHW will start with 25 OHW (base 15 + 10 from the bonus) and can level it up to 110 (100 base + 10 of the bonus).

Redguards are known to be the best warriors in Tamriel. Orcs might be stronger though, since I think their shortcomings in war are probably due to their savage and tribal behavior. They don't have the military strategy to win a war, or keep Orsinium from being sacked.

Imperials are actually pretty weak at fighting, but conquered everyone simply because they're the best strategists.

It doesn't really matter, though the Redguard and Orc have fitting racial abilities.
