Allthough I cant see many games of interest this year, so I think I already know what my personal GoTY will be (Katawa Shoujo).

Since the only game I've bought this year is Kingdoms of Amular: Reckoning.....I'd have to go with that. :biggrin:

I suspect if you were to ask me in December I'd say ME3...

Not a huge fan of FPS and definitely not a fan of Batman, so yeah.......... My money is on Borderlands 2 being the standout game of 2012.

Only new game I've gotten this year is KOA:Reckoning, which was good but I know by the end of the year it likely won't even be my top 5. This is a pretty strong year for games and I suspect something like The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition or Mass Effect 3 will be my favorite game, maybe even The Last Guardian if it ever comes out.

After watching that video I think I'll pass :tongue:

I'm going to hold out for Armored Core 5, Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland, and Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2

Edit: I highly doubt it would get localized (and even if it did there's the question of when) but I would like Madoka Magica Portable as well.

Edit 2: Almost forgot about Journey. That looks awesome and I'm highly interested in it.

Which is unfortunate. I'm a pretty big fan of Monolith and was glad to hear they were going back to their wacky roots, rather than such grimdark fare as Condemned and F.E.A.R.

That looks dreadful. I'm guessing this is a multiplayer based game? Ew.

I actually havn't purchased a game from this year yet. Last game I bought was Silent Hill on PS Store.

The only game I've bought in 2012 is Need for speed: shift 2- Unleashed and that was released in 2011 so it doesn't count.

I do plan on purchasing:
Grand Theft Auto V
Bioshock Infinite
The Last Of Us
Borderlands 2

Nothing else interests me.

Being that it is the only game I have bought this year, KoA.

By the end of the year, I would think either Witcher 2 (360) or Bioshock: Infinite will probably be my favorites. Waiting to see how Risen 2 turns out.

Katawa Shojou ?
Its actually made by westerners. Allthough they were inspired by a Japanese artist, which is why the game still has that name.
