BACK OFF! HE'S MINE! :P

Oh, I hope not! A bit of light fluffy innuendo is OK when it's in the context of e.g. the original post, but we don't want too much of it swelling up and dominating the forum until the members get too excited and the ladies all swoon. It's unbecoming, and these forums are serious business.

:stare:

Swoon?

What does it mean?

What does 'it' mean?

What does it?

What?

Are you telling me you've never been to a barbeque, walked up to the grill, looked at what was on the grill and then asked "WTF!? IS THAT PEOPLE!?"

Also, it's their company, they can use whatever slogan they wish. I know if I owned a company it would have the most immature jokes attached to everything it did.

I frequently see two admins viewing threads at a time.

I think the record would be most obscure sixual refrences in a thread.

Is that normal? Or what...

Anyway, yeah, the slogan needs to be something else.

I prefer the slogan, "ALL HAIL VINEGAR RA, PATRON SAINT OF BGSF." But that's a personal thing.

I'm not some crotchety old nun who shudders at the tiniest inkling of sixual references in things, I simply don't think it's very professional to have a "Lol erectonz joek" as the company slogan. However, arguing is pointless, because Gstaff's post seems to indicate that it isn't even official. Sorry if my lack of a 13 year old mindset made me seem like a prude, but while I like immature jokes in games as much as the next guy, I do not like them in the slogans of professional companies.

I don't understand what the difference, and why you're being so pedantic about it. Surely if you're going to be bothered by something, instead of being bothered by the slogan that you have never seen until now, why wouldn't you be bothered by the jokes in the games that the professional company made for mass consumption by everyone who plays them?
I'm not arguing with you, just saying it's dumb to get all uppity about the slogan of a company that makes toys, which are for fun. It'd be different if it was a legal firm or something, but it's a videogame company, and injecting a bit of humour into their slogan, while it may not be to your own very subjective tastes(the so called 13 year old mindset you say you need to chuckle at a little silly joke), shows a little bit of a human face, which is welcome in the world of Activison-Blizzard and EA.

I've known about the slogan for at least a year now, as I said in my first post (well, I said I've known about it for a while now).

If you aren't arguing, then what are you trying to do? Look, it's my opinion, and I'm entitled to it. It isn't even their official slogan. I already said I don't think lesser of them for it, though it's true that if it was any other company, I would.

Now, as usual, I've gone against my rule of not going onto the forums when I haven't slept for a while, and very likely sound like more of a dike than usual. I'll probably feel bad about it tomorrow, but right now this is me being sleep-deprived, a.k.a Mr. Overly Serious. So lets drop the argument, or whatever we're doing, before we further derail what would otherwise be a pretty cool topic.
