Bethesda, this may be the greatest game ever made.

I think it's well on the road to becoming my favourite game of all time now, it's just amazingly epic in almost every way :D

A lot of you might flame, but flamas gunna flame.

Anyway, I always put Morrowind - and still do - in that esteem, but Skyrim definitely has the potential to surpass it for me. Pointless thread I guess, except to say thanks for all the hard work, Bethesda!
I don't quite know what you are talking about.

I ALREADY like this game tons more than Morrowind.

At the least I put Thief : TDP and TMA, Daggerfall, Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics, Dark Age of Camelot, C&C Generals, BF 2142 and Civ 2 ahead of it.
Daggerfall is so massively overrated in my opinion. I mean, I've played it quite a lot, but I've never really gotten into it like I have with Fallout 3 and Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim. I'm trying to prevent negativity and flame any way I can, but what do you honestly see in it?

Indeed amazing game, I love it how some vampire beat the [censored] outta me, I tried it like 5 times but couldnt finish him, then just gave up and marked the spot to came back later when im buffed up and kick the hell outta him. Its great that game lets me know that my character isnt any special and it needs lotsa more training before it will become veteran.
The best game I have ever played. Great work Bethesda  :tes:

The reason is you're playing it now. When it released, there was absolutely nothing like it. It was a revolution.

Endless content, a solid storyline with political intrigue, massive game world, with a ridiculous amount of freedom.

I hated the random dungeons in Daggerfall. To me they were the worst aspect of the game. I want great big hand crafted dungeons instead and I hope I find them in Skyrim. Oblivion was a good step forward. I hope this current game is epic. Patch away Bethesda!

I know exactly what you're talking about. The random dungeons in Daggerfall, and especially the massive random dungeons were unbearable for me.

:tes: Skyrim is the best game I've played for a long time.

TES is the best game series I know. Almost no other games give as many hours of enjoyment. And with mods TES games have almost infinite replay value.

I was just sat on a cliff sniping bandits on a bridge (that place next to the waterfall), and as I was killing the last one I noticed 3 dudes walking across the bridge in my direction. When they get near me I notice "hired thug", and it becomes obvious someone has hired them to kill me. They were pretty tough, but when I killed them I read the note, apparently someone called Moira hired them. Now I'm going to have to find her and kill her. Any ideas where she is?

How could not accomplishing anything for 6 hours be fun? I have no idea, it just is.

I've just been hunting and smithing, and having a good 'ol time. Only just now starting that sidequest up in the barrow, after 12 hours.

A lot better than Oblivion. I am pleasantly surprised. But it could have been better, had they not removed some fundamental aspects of TES and RPG's in general.

I was only born in '91 so FF7 was one of the first games I played along with Nuclear Strike and C&C Retaliation/Red Alert.

FF7, resident evil and red alert were my first games :D.

As amazing and defining for the RPG genre as FF7 was, Skyrim just screams epic awesomeness and is my new favirate RPG of all :tes: .

Many would say that that the game needs some fixing and some other things that were left out adding in again which is true, thank the game gods for mods.

Nothing that mods can't bring back. It's important to understand how easy it will be in Skyrim to mod...compare it to New Vegas, the whole crafting system is based on this. You can mod tons of new perks, crafts and other RPG related gameplay stuff.
