Do MMO's count?

If do I say Runescape should be up there.

...Oh how my time in middle school was wasted with that game. :D

This is a suggestion thread, they're only numbered so that I know when there are 100 suggestions and we can commence voting.

Oops.

I was under the impression that we were voting, the list being created as we voted. My bad.

There should be a series of polls in which we vote for the bottom ten RPGs to be kicked off the list or to become the bottommost RPGs. Elimination polls until we reach the top ten. Then two additional rounds of voting. One to cement the top ten. Then to cement the top 5. I think that should work. It should start with a poll of ALL the RPGs named and then get trimmed down to 100. That should work.

I approve of this system.

The only problem with that is unless the poll is multiple choice a lot of games will get zero votes.

A new round of voting for all those that got zeroes. Then an additional round comparing the top 10% of that with the lowest 10% or equivalent number of the games that got votes. Gets a little convoluted but it ensures accuracy.

Or you could do it in reverse order. But my way gives people time to really think about what makes it to the top.

I think at least the first few polls should be multichoice. I couldn't pick just one game from a list of 100.

Maybe you could have each voter post their top ten choices, and give each game a number of points depending on it's ranking from each voter. For example, each 1st place vote gets 20 points, each second place gets 18, etc. Tally up the points for the results.

Whichever way, hats off to the OP who has his work cut out sorting this lot. As for the 0 votes thing, might be a massive pain to sort, but if everyone gets to vote for thing they like to move up, and things they don't like to move down, then 0 votes means stays where it is. I myself just couldn't be bothered to put that much effort in though, to be perfectly honest.

Multiple choice poll of the full 100, the bottom ten games get a new poll (old poll locked) to rank them from 100 to 90. Another big poll of the 90 remaining choices, then the bottom ten of that poll get a poll to rank from 90 to 80 and so on and so forth.

I think the best way to vot would be to have 100 polls and have 100 choices each...but I doubt the forums would handle 10,000 choices. :)

Well if their games can't handle that many choices..

I played both Champions Games. They were pretty fun. Not great stories though.
