2 glitches:

Debug Console seems to not work (at least on some laptops, such as mine), even after verifying that bAllowConsole=1 in documents --> My Games --> FalloutNV --> Fallout.ini and FalloutPrefs.ini, as well as in the Fallout_default.ini in the Steam subfolder for New Vegas.

This is a problem with the Gamebryo engine and well known.

I still get that annoying audio screeching when talking to the NCR soldiers wearing a scarf on their mouth..It gets on my nerves and support never came back to me about it..And that bloody HDR flickering is a pain in the ass too..For heaven's sake patch your game coorectly or get some skilled staff dammit!!!

Don't forget the glitch about Boone being a Zombie. He's the only companion now who won't look at the player like all the other companions and NPCs do. He just stares ahead as if he was dead. Headtracking is broken.

well first, he will not stop until i press fire, and when i press my bullet count is as it says on hud, 4... this is the only time this glitch has happened to me, then again, that is the only time i used .357 revolver..good thing i had my fraps on and i recorded it :)...

ps. i almost pressed fire when that gecko ran at me..

I can confirm that I fought the law is still broken

If you attack and kill eddie.. the radio will still message that the attack failed.

Donno if ending is right or not but its sort of annyoing

Some NPCs are spawning with the wrong ammunition for their energy weapons - specifically, the Bright Brotherhood (corpses as well as live ones) spawning with Plasma Defenders are carrying Microfusion Cells, rather than the Small Energy Cells they should be carrying.

Just got the game, not sure if this is a bug that existed before the patch or not.

When I go into NCRCF to kill off all the powder gangers, I can do all the bloody mayhem I want, popping off heads and arms, turning them into goo, whatever, and get good karma for it, BUT If I pick up an empty bottle, I lose Karma. I have tried three different times as I learn the ropes in the game and experiment with different builds. Every time the same. I haven't noticed any other inappropriate factional loot / karma issues, but I haven't progressed very far in the game either.

But whenever I hit sneak, My camera seems to get stuck in sneak mode, and one go back up until I reload.

If that doesn't make sense, When standing, The camera is about chest level. When I crouch to sneak, the camera drops say a foot. When I un-sneak, the camera doesn't bounce back up, but instead, stays down as if I were crouched.

To top this off, when I move forward, it goes up. when I stop moving, it drops back down.

Its really wierd, and really annoying.

I am running a costum race mod, I'm almost positive though, that it'll do it, regardless of race. (I'll have to find an old save to confirm.)

The only one I think it could be was the centered camera-mod but I disabled/unistalled it, and still does it in an old save.

Weight-reducing weapon mods display the weight reduction in the item's weight field, but the actual weight is still the original. Cannot be fixed by dropping and picking up the item.

Noted on the Weapon Mods Expanded mod thread, confirmed by me.

I think I figured it out. My character is sooo-over weight, the game its self is breaking with godmode allowing you to 'run' while over-encoumbered.
Somehow, when sneaking it is causing my character's camera to become broken.

I went to both an early save with no mods, and a new save with mods, and confirmed this.
Only the character that WAS 'overweight' had the broken camera, the one that wasn't, worked fine.

These are all post-patch, ver 1.2.0.314

Item stacking still bugged: throwing spears, recruit helmets, 9mm pistols, 9mm smg for a start. The items appear as one item but the weight seems to still add up.

Occasionally when firing single load weapons, they'll automatically reload in the middle of firing (for instance, after only 2 shots out of a full 7 shot load). Can't seem to "make" this happen - it appears to be random.

Gave Boone 1) Liberator - disappeared from his inventory but he still used it 2) machete gladius - disappeared from his inventory but he's either using it or the liberator (can't tell) Even though he's set for ranged, he seems to prefere melee. So, I toggled the ranged/melee menu option for him - now his rifle is impaling him (guess that's why he prefers melee now - can't blame him!):

Bighorners are spawning in massive groups in one spawn point and getting stuck:

A centaur and an evolved centaur spawned in Hidden Valley from inside of a hollowed out rock. ED-E was able to go inside of the rock to kill them:

That's all for now. Upon downloading the new patch I defragged the cache, validated the files, and started a brand new character. I've just entered freeside so I suspect I'll be adding more to the list in the near future.

As expected, I have more screenshots. I know the cateye bug existed for some players pre-patch, but I never experienced it before now. Also, I'm getting the black-and-white bug now. I took some screenshots of my pipboy effects screen to show what chems I was on and what I wasn't on in case the cateye/b&w effects have been mistakenly attached to one of the other chems. This took place at the Fort:

Well, your guess is as good as mine. I had four full playthroughs from beginning to end pre-patch and never experienced this bug. Post patch, it didn't start until I reached the Fort.

I have an issue with the robots at the lucky 38 being hostile, I read that its tied to finishing vault 11 first.
Don't know if there is a fix or work around for this yet. Any info is appreciated.

@ enza_braeburn -- I've had the rifle-stuck-in-Boone/companion long before patch 1.2. Seems to be one of those graphical glitches that happens now and then with certain weapons. I mostly find it amusing.

Have played a few hours since reinstalling the game and still no frozen/unharmable enemies anymore, so far. However I keep hearing how companions will now "warp" to their home location if you dismiss them. Mine don't. They still casually stroll away from me and start walking. I haven't tested it too much tho...maybe I was just close enough to their home location anyway so they walked instead?

The other strange thing I encountered didn't have any bad effect gameplay wise, but it sure was weird. No idea if others have had it before 1.2 but I sure never have...and I've done this area (near Nelson) many many times.
I did the part of Nelson where you rescue the hostages (not re-take it, just the rescue) and was rewarded by NCR Milo. Then I marched further down the road to where there's another 'rescue' quest, where you're supposed to go into a cavern. After the distressed NCR guy in the road gave me that quest, I walked towards the entrance of the cavern...and lo and behold, Milo and the 3 NCR I had just freed from the crosses warped into the area and started walking back towards Nelson.

Bugs:

1. Player weapons seem to move around oddly...alternately rising then lowering, or moving in other odd fashions, sometimes becoming stuck in that position. During this time the players weapon also tends to vanish from the screen and only comes back after entering iron sights mode. Crouching tends to make this problem worse. Mainly happens with rifles such as the varmint rifle, shotgun(s), et al. Have not noticed this on heavy weapons.

2. Players hand and arm position for holding a pistol when not in iron sights is off. FOV is showing way too much arm, especially given the rather low quality arm textures shown in first person mode. It literally feels like the player is planning to jam the gun in the enemies face rather than shoot them.

3. Vault 22, elevator causes a complete crash when you attempt to go to the bottom level via elevator.

4. Quest to fix solar arrays at Nellis is buggy. Use of movetoqt during this quest results in total crashes, but physically walking back to the quest objective does not. This only affects the section(s) of the quest dealing with the ants and the reflector arrays themselves.

5. Various quest NPCs, mainly NCR officers, tend to wander off into the wasteland after battle, never to be seen again unless you use movetoqt. This gets worse the closer you get to the front lines, probably because more and more random encounters are happening.

6. Intermittent crashes for no reason.


I will not post a stupid DXDIAG, because this has happened on five machines, each totally different, different hardware, different performance specs, et al, at my friends Internet Cafe/computer gaming cafe, as well as on my own machine.

In particular, the weapons acting oddly and vanishing i can verify on every single one of these six machines, as well as him stating the same issue on his computer (that makes seven) at home.

Since the patch, I've encountered the ED-E bug where he disappears in the vault with the plants after going unconscious. Had to disable, enable, resurrect, and move him to me and all the stuff in inventory was gone.

For no reason at all, I'm no longer vilified with the powder gangers but neutral again. And I'm not idolized by the great kahns, it reset to neutral. That launcher crashes a lot. Moto runner's helmet is still in my inventory. The game freezes randomly and of course CTDs. Not posting a dxdiag cause it won't help, these are all issues that everybody seems to have. Think I'll just take a break for a while and hope (but won't hold my breath) that some magic update is in the works. And I'm not going to feel bad about, ahem, 'obtaining' the 360 DLC files and using them on the PC. I got Fallout 3 to kinda sorta work in NV (with a very dark sky, no music, and a lot of giant red arrows cause stuff is missing) by messing with the geck so I'm sure the DLC will work just fine

Character animation still goes crazy when entering Vats...

example.

Enter vats to aim to the head on an NPC. Confirm I want to shoot target in the head and press E on keyboard. Instead of PC shooting said target..PC freezes up and does a weird animation in vats and does not shoot target. Happened 3/5 times I used vats today.
Game breaking and super annoying.

Explosives projectiles frequently only inflict base weapon damage, the explosion does 0 damage or enemies gain complete immunity to explosives. somehow.

Apparent on missile launchers and grenade guns.

The Ninja perk is still bugged to multiply your crit chance by 1.15 instead of adding 15% (like every other perk that modifies crit chance). I.e a 20% crit chance becomes 23% instead of 35%. Makes it mostly pointless given the high requirements.

I have NO problems with the game after the patches on PC. Even before, I had few. All I can say is that I've installed NO mods....fixes or otherwise. I think mod fixes are a mistake. Mod features, probably won't hurt or improve. I'll post a DX Diag if you like. I do not have an Nvidia card, or a laptop.
