well whether its a technical bug or not its still a bug, one that only associates itself with skyrim and no other game ive ever played.
Thanks though I think setting the skyrim process priority to high in task manager solved it.

Anyone ever have dragons randomly drop dead out of the sky? I'm riding on my horse down the road, hear a dragon cry, I look up, and it dropped dead behind me.

- Just wanted to add a few; on the graphical bug where torches/cobwebs are invisible, this generally includes all smoke/mist effects too, such as mountain tops and chimney and waterfall FX.

- Most frustratingly, I've run into a bug that won't allow to me use three word shouts, as the game acts as though I've released the key after the second word.

- Also, on one particular shout (spoiler), the 'throw your voice' distraction shout, the cooldown for the two word version seems to be almost half the time of the one word version, although the info states it's something like 5,15,20 per word recharge. I've run into numerable bugs, I'll rack my brains and review the list to check.

Edit: Today I noticed dragons can fly right through mountains. I had a hunch that it may depend on how close the player is to said rock/mountain since once I got closer the dragon seemed to fly over it instead, but it would still fly right through it when it had rendered from a distance.

Edit 2: Also had a problem renaming enchanted items as the text bar would automatically change whatever I'd written into caps a soon as I confirmed the name change.

Edit 3: Also realized from youtube vids today that my UI may even be buggy; when pressing tab I can't select which menu (magic/items/character/map) with the cursor, only WASD. It's mostly the same for the rest of the UI, except for the sub menus.

- Also, whenever I change the default key settings, and then close the game, they have reset to default upon opening the game the next time. Pretty annoying, that one.

Ebony and Daedric bows don't profit from the "Quickshot" perk. They fire slower than all the other bows. Intentional?

The Ebony dagger swings slower than all the other daggers including the Deadric dagger.

Although the one-handed skill lists daggers, the first perk doesn't improve the damage value of daggers. Similarly amulets and rings with fortify one-handed don't increase damage with daggers.

I might have a fix for the invisible quest item bug I mentioned a couple of pages back.
-> Go to Jail and sleep.

Seems to be related with jail/bounty. I first noticed it in Markath after the (spoiler) break out of jail quest after getting caught in the shrine quest.
Not only stuff in my own inventory are now visible, but also stuff found in chests etc.

It's 20, 15, 5, actually. That's the whole point. Each dragon soul spent reduces the cooldown.

After completing Companion questline, I can receive repeatable quests from Aela and Vilkas, but not Farkas, thus I am unable to complete the "Purity" quest.

just got this one

* Sapphire sometimes gets stuck on the bridge by the Bee and Barb, and will not respond to anything or take part in any necessary final Thieve's guild questline ceremonies, and cannot be talked to about Shadr's debt for "Under New Management".


It's pissing me off, anyone got a fix?

Loading quicksaves can sometimes lead to the game thinking that you are overburdened when you aren't. This only happens when you have the Steed starsign's passive ability (+100 weight) and you are carrying over 300.

i get it and i get sent to winterholm, i talk to nalacor, and get pointed to the dungeon it's in.
but i have business at the wizard school, so i go there and talk to a person, and 1 of the topics is finding nalacor in winterholm.
i talk to him again, and check the journal, and talking to him is no longer checked off, but i still have the update to go to the dungeon where the star is.
It is a minor bug, but it annoys me. I did the talks over so the journal looks good.

I also sometimes have problems with my mouse selecting and getting the dialog option i want to select. I will select 1, and the game plays a totally diffetent 1, usually the 1st one. Even though a totally different dialog is highlighted. :shocking: :banghead: :o

A bug for the "Your Character". Diseases are still contactable as a vampire, which grants 100% disease resistance. Both Rockjoint and Brain rot are disease that my character has contracted.

Oh yeah I got the bug with Nalacor.

Regarding selecting the wrong dialogue: I find this only occurs when using both the keyboard and mouse, perhaps because they are fighting for priority. Even nudging the mouse slightly can cause this, so its best just not to touch it at all while in a dialogue and only use the keyboard.

Just one-hit-killed Kvenel with some of the leftover Ice Wraith Bane from the Companion initiation quest. This suggests that Ice Wraith Bane can instantly kill anything, when it's only intended to kill the Ice Wraith in the Companion quest. I still have one vial left and I'm going to test this on the next dragon/lone giant I come across.

I don't know if this has already been said. I checked through the list and didn't find it.

But, If you equip a woodcutters axe to your right hand, the woodchopping animation will show the Axe in your hands and on your belt at the same time.

I don't understand; if I tap the shout key my character utters one word, and I have a long cooldown. If I hold it down for a duration, he utters two words (I have only unlocked 2/3 on this shout), and the cooldown is much shorter. Are you saying that 'charging' the shout, as in holding down the key for longer, decreases the duration of the cooldown? That seems an odd system, I was assuming it to be something like the spell system in fable for example, where the longer I charge the spell, the greater the level of the spell, as in damage or area.

I definitely need some sort of administrative assistance with my bug.

I recently started the "Blood's Honor" Companion quest and shortly afterwards Kodlak caught me stealing an object and chased me throughout the town in an offensive stance. He wouldn't let me talk to him and the guards wouldn't arrest me for stealing.

After some searching, someone had suggested that when NPC's glitch like that to just walk up to a guard and pickpocket them to get arrested and pay the fine making the NPC neutral again.

However, once I completed the quest it said go speak to Kodlak again, but the arrow pointed to where he last was in town ... and when I go to Jorrvaskr Vilkas does his thing saying that the Silver Hand attacked, and immediately after finishing "Blood's Honor" "Purity of Revenge" is supposed to start .. but it doesn't and everyone is stuck in the positions when they were attacked ... Please help me! I can't continue the quests!

Problem with Follower and getting stuff from unmarked/un-owned (chests with white text).

My character put things in an unmarked container (say in a vampire lair or cave, random dungeon).
My character direct a follower/companion to "get all" from above container.
All the items that the follower/companion get from the container above are now marked as STOLEN.

On A Night To Remember quest that starts in Whiterun inn, the trash you clean up at the temple after waking up is marked as quest items and cannot be removed from inventory. Pretty frustrating also.

I found out this regarding dual wielding weapons. If I have two identical onehand weapons, say two steel daggers. I can favorite them and then open fav menu (q)
left and right click on them and assigne a hotkey and everything is dandy right up to the point when you uppgrade the daggers. After uppgrading its impossible to
hotkey those daggers for dualwielding. You have to manually go to the inventory and left click on one and right click on the other. You cant even do this in the fav menu anymore,
you have to use the inventory, making the dualwielding option a real hassel.
