Confessions #2

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 12:03 pm

Amen. Except I'm already 21 and not doing anything with my life.
I'm well past 21 and I still don't know what I want to do with my life.

I'm also agoraphobic. Like... I haven't traveled more then 30 mins in any direction away from my town in over 10 years and I have panic attacks when OTHER people travel.

I've never flown in an airplane and never seen the ocean with my own eyes.
I'm bored of my course and don't care about failing....(I'd prefer to pass though)

I can't carry a 3 seater couch, that has been soaked with 9 weeks worth of rain, in the rain more than 40ft. I used a skateboard to push it along.

QFT.

Confession: I get nervous to the point of being nauseous when I go on a date. This only started happening within the last year, all through high school and for about a year after, I was perfectly fine. Am I broken?
yeah many people are like that when they start dating. Practice makes purrfect

Sometimes when I'm stressed out I go outside, sit by one of the gum trees in our back garden and listen to 'Concerning Hobbits' on the fellowship of the ring soundtrack on my mp3 player. Calms me down and if I close my eyes I kind of feel like I'm there in Hobbiton.

I absolutly HATE feet. They are so freaking gross...
This! I just hate them. They're so...ugly.

I like to be alone, so, sometimes, afterschool, I'll climb up the hill behind my house and sit by this creek with obscured by gum trees and just think.

My brother and I...well, I really wouldn't say we don't get along, rather, we never talk to eachother. And when we do, he just insults me. I feel as if he doesn't appreciate me, and his insults actually hurt. I get upset over that, but I'm afraid to show it, otherwise he'd weird of me. I want to be able to talk to him normally and be seen as a brother, not someone to be ignored.

I have yet to kiss a girl, like a real serious kiss. I don't see it happening anytime in my future either. But it doesn't bother me all that much.
Sometimes I choose not to like certain things because everyone else likes them.
I may be intelligent, but quite often I feel like a ditz. Lack of common sense, that type of thing.

Thought of one:

I drank too much, blacked out, and woke up in a taxi cab. And then I threw up in the backseat, onto the lap of someone I didn't know.

And that's why I no longer live in Boston. . .

I also don't like kissing - the feeling of it - has never been pleasant. (Don't ever tell that to a girl ;) )

They're good at wearing shoes, though. Anyway, though aesthetics may be a matter of debate, be kind to your feet, they do a lot of hard work what with being stood on for much of the day.

Due to not having a formal education or a job, I often dream of ways to embark upon a criminal career.
[censored], my grades were so bad, I wasn't even eligible for service time in the army, during peace times.

What if you became extremely fit ? Would the army take you then ?

Also its Norway, you guys seem to be on peace time most of the time :P Unless you got dragged into the mid east somehow.

I like others here am 18, never kissed a girl. And I dont care about it at all, dont see why people make a big deal out of it.

Not a confession, just an oppinion. I think Japanese,Chinese, etc. Are the worst languages in the world. Mainly becuase it looks like the symmbols take a while to draw, the lack of spaces between words. And those "Kanji", there are about 10,000 apparently. Thats alot of symbols to learn.
I will stick to my simple Latin.

I'd say American English is the worst, soley because it has a guilty habit of butchering older English words or foreign words and being claimed as 'our' word.

I had my first at a point in my life I never expected I'd be able to meet a girl that I would have a chance with. Never give up hope man! :goodjob:

I cry at movies, a lot. I love sad movies. I'm not so embarrassed by it I'd never tell anyone, but I always feel a bit of a loser the day after I watch one that really got me.

I sometimes feel bad about myself because there are so many more hard working and smarter people who'll never have opportunities like I've gotten, that I haven't done as much with as other people could have. I didn't waste them by any means, it's just some sort of weird feeling of guilt.

I can switch interchangeably between a British accent and American accent because of my upbringing but I've always liked the American one more. Sure it 'destroys' the pronunciations of the original English language, but I like the new pronunciations. It sounds more serious and it goes well with a deeper voice like mine way more. And it's just easier to understand in my opinion. New England accents anyway, let's not get into the Midwest and South.

[snip]
I'm the same, on both counts. It's true that things will finally fall into place when you truly stop caring/looking for it. Just let things fall when and where they may.

I'm a huge crier. It's pretty embarrassing. I'll be driving and see someone helping someone with groceries in a parking lot and start crying. I'll watch Toy Story 3 and start crying. Watch a military homecoming, start crying. Any emotional montage at all, really. I even teared up a little during the State of the Union address. I don't think that makes me less of a man, it just means I have a big heart when it comes to sympathizing with others and wanting people to be happy- which I'm extremely grateful for.

Its annoying sure, but atleast the letters are simple. What foreign words have Americans claimed as theirs ?

I cried over Narcissu, its 2 hours at most to read through, you know from the setting it wont be sunshine and roses. Yet I still cried, I will likely admit crying, if people asked though. Seems better tha "hurr I so manly I have no emotion." Allthough I suppose thats better, than thin skinned people who get upset over the smallest things.

I know what you mean, sort of. In a similar boat myself.

I don't have any interesting confessions that it'd be aproppriate to share on these forums.

I like to retain an air of mystery. Is that a confession? :P

If you can name any language in the world that doesn't take words and phrases from other languages both older than and contemporary to it then I'll give you a million pounds.

Touche. I just have a problem with the potential idea of 'text speak' becoming the English norm. :shakehead:

It has nothing to do with fitness. My math grades aren't high enough for me to be taught how to use a rifle and act as cannon fodder.

And not to make this political, but we've had forces in the middle-East for several years now, anyway.

Welsh is pretty old. Allthough im not sure if Gaelic borrowed Welsh stuff, or Welsh borrowed Gaelic stuff. So my guess is one of those two.

Same here. Though I am kinda self-conscious about it, so I don't like watching movies with other people.

I never used to be so sensitive though, so I dunno why I am now.
