I agree the steel plate does look great. Although mine does have chain mail on the arms instead of cloth. Thank you based mods.

Daedric, Ebony and Steel plate are my favorites. Then again, pretty much everything looks fantastic in Skyrim

their armors are generic looking and terrible... diablo II had better designed unique armors and that came out well over a decade ago..

Man, your name says it all. Why don't you just go on and play Final Fantasy instead of trolling this forum? Too much spare time? It starts to get annoying.

On topic:
My best looking armors all come from modders :). If I had to choose from vanilla armory, I guess it would be the thieves guild armor (has a cape, not too much little details that look out of place).

All I know is that aside from the Donald duck foot armor with that doofus helm, the oblivion elf armor looked a helluva lot better than the crab-gear you get now..I look like an angry yellow crustacean stomping around now...As for excellent armors my favorites are, the Steel, steel plate, ebony, and Orc armors...

Daedric armor imo does look out of place, its a little too dark wearing it I feel like I'm a minion servant rather than the dragon born hero which is why I liked the dragon plate/scale armor it was unique. I was a bit disappointed with the selection of armor though was hoping to see some more armor that looked good instead of seeing rehashed oblivion armor. Good looking armor is definitely not one of the design teams strengths.

it is called a rifle with a musket on the end of it

It's called a bayonet. Some of which can be quite long..

I love Daedric armor. Just so good looking. While it does make you look Sauron, my charcter is a bit of anti-hero of sorts. Sithis demands blood!

Forsworn armor on a female Khajiit. Awesomeness.

More power to you man, nothing wrong with any of that.
.......
But I'd rather not think of that myself. At least it isn't an Orc, right?

What I don't like is deadric armor, looks like something from star trek. It just looks fake and cheesy, the ebony looks siiiiiick! Also I don't know why so many people like steel plate, looks generic to me.

Over all I like most of the armor in the game, don't really care for the armor mods that I've seen they mostly look out of place or just weird like deadric armor.

i like the lower end armors alot. in fact they are the best of any game i can think of recently with the exception of mount and blade and skyrim beats those armors on textures. my personal favorite is scale for light armor (though it could use a bit more coverage around the arms) and orc for heavy armor. i HATE glass because its bulkier than most of the heavy armors and is probably the least sneak of all the armors period. running around looking like the green lantern isnt going to win you an sneak awards. i also happen to feel the same way about the low tier weapons especially the steel weapons compared to the high end weapons which look just as cartoony as the high end armors.......ebony being the worst offendor with those awful swords. the blades are so thick on them you wouldnt be able to cut a stick of butter with blades that fat in real life.

clearly whoever designed the low end weapons and armor googled some pics of actual armor and weapons while the people that did the high end gears went and played WoW for a few hours for inspiration.

I like the steel plate armour, im wearing daedric but hate the look of it, and trying to work out why nobody else notices im wearing daedric armour since i seem to be the only one so far, havent seen the nightingale yet, but not ovely impressed with the armour designs in the game.

My Altmer has gone all Brew Crew crusty, and won't be seen dead or sober without her Forsworn headdress. Pity the armour looks like what Piltdown Woman wears to the beach.

For me, the most suitable armor usually is the leather armor for sneaky characters, robes for mages. I don't really like glass, elvish, daedric, as they don't fit the environment. The forlorn-armor looks really nice on my female archer, as long as she doesn't step into the higher areas. there she will wear fur.

Nightingale prime by a long shot followed by ebony armor.

Ugliest armor would have to be elven which i personally "modded" to look like ebony.

I like most of the armours in the game tho I tend to like the low end armour more than high end armour. I don’t like glass, dwarven or the dragon armours (tho dragon scale looks better on male characters), I like the daedric helmet and shieid but overall the armor just seems out of place.
My favourite heavy armours are at this moment in time ( I will likely change my mind in 2 seconds) ebony or steal. Steel plate is simple but I like it and it doesn’t have ridicules shoulders.
Favourite light armour....I actually really like just the normal stormcloak/hold guard armour and the thieves guild armour.

My current character is wearing Blades armor, with a daedric helmet and boots, and ebony gauntlets. Looks pretty bad@#$. I have trouble deciding though between the daedric shield and the dragonbone plate one (with a whiter retexture mod.)

Archmages robes. Guilded wristbands. Jester boots. Mages circlet. Though I'll have to check into the daedric guantlets if there as cool as everyone is making them sound...
