Do you think ' Friendly Fire ' is considered to be a chaotic action ?

Well, any killing of guards is, so yes. Probably not any more or less than normal killing of guards.

I would go with Mak on this one.

It would be a cool surprise if the tabulation was that in-depth though.

Yeah but the code would be a nightmare and it would spark one of those giant (and pretty meaningless and time consuming) debates about whether it should or shouldn't build chaos and so on. A more simplified one is best and hope we can get more information on it.

That's true. Heck I'm still scratching my head about guards as it is. No need to muck it up further.

Unnecessary i you ask me.

As i've understood it, it's not about who kills who, but who dies.

Let's say 100 guards die because of "accidents" and "friendly fire"

That equals 100 grieving families, and 100 guards that can't be hired to f.x keep the weepers at bay/contain the rat plague/keep order in the city.

This will in the end literally create chaos, as the city looses it's capabilites to uphold the law, and keep it's citizens safe, and the city becomes more chaotic.

Maybe i'm just reading to much into the whole chaos system.

Even if we cut out the family ties that factors into this it would still be overly complicated and wouldn't work by current video game standarts.

Of course, i didn't mean that the game would track every single guard, and what his/hers death would insure.

I simply tried to explain why the death of the guards would lead to chaos, not how.
