Talon, I think we both know that's a lie. :P

But still, this seems fishy. O_o
I'm not lying when I say that. I can cancel my preorder whenever i want. I won't accept **** like that to happen to my game. I don't care how pretty Crysis 2 looks, Crytek can kiss my ass goodbye if this doesn't get addressed. Hopefully its just an expired contract and crytek will renew it. Its either that or host their own server, which would require a 1.6 patch.
They have said that they will try to make things in Crysis 2 good for us, the player, so I assume any problems would be resolved

They wouldnt just end crysis wars, that would be retarded, it would alienate ALL of the hardcoe players who are generating alot of the hype around crysis 2.

PB caused more trouble than it was worth anyway.. true it banned maybe.. 100 hackers, not that it really helped to be honest.

if they really stopped supporting the multiplayer, then it's only an extra epic fail...

Yes there was more info pasted on my clan site. Gamespy was down not only for crysis, but other games as well, as they did box changes. Looks like it is slowly coming back.

Good. Now I can rest safe with my preorder untouched. ^^

Hopefully this means better stability from gamespy now. Still, I don't get why they would have that message pop up if they were just doing maintenance... Its not like when they shut down the NYC grid for maintenance once in a while, they broadcast "electricity to your homes is no longer supported!!!".

Gamespy should be slapped for misleading messages. =/

The servers are back up, but I'm being intermittently disconnected from any and all servers I join, as are pretty much everyone else I know. I'm also being disconnected from my own server as well. WTF is up with GameSpy and when will things be back to normal?

Prime example of why assuming [and then en massing rage] is a bad thing.

Unfortunately the GameSpy maintenance wasn't supposed to affect more than just Battlefield, so this was an unforeseen issue.

Glad to hear it's all back up and running now though!

Hi guys,

We have not stopped support for Crysis Wars or Crysis MP. Due to the number of posts regarding this we have emailed GameSpy asking for a response. As soon as we have more information you will hear it here first.

If you continue to experience any difficulty connecting to servers then please post your issue here so that others can possibly help.

I am also getting the intermittent disconnect issue, it can happen anything from every 2 minutes to much longer, just about everyone is experiencing this problem, the message, "you have been disconnected from the server" pops up over the main menu.
