Getting kicked from all servers, even those who don't run PB kicks me :(

As you might understand, this is UNPLAYABLE, you cant play for more than 10minutes MAX without getting kicked and you get kicked frequently...

Normally is just really hard to get people to your server and now, when people gets kicked 24/7 its not making this easier. I'm afraid that MANY people will LEAVE this game if you/PB/gamespye/what ever tries to fix this.
And you can not blame it on that Crysis 2 is coming soon, its still about 6 months till release, and the good old MP community will be DEAD by then if you don't fix it soon!

Regards,
Victor

In my server www.desislava.net I remove all PB and GameSpy services, if players connected with menu Internet Game all players receive the unique reference number from gamespy - i see this number with Spoonguard's program Rconnect, but if connect direct with menu LOCAL NETWORK GAME and click bottom right CONNECT TO IP and enter my IP adress 188.126.16.19 and port 64102 this unique number always is 0 and server no kick me and another players connected by this way... I will be happy to exchange views with other owners of the servers or admins - my skype is embakot .

On Ferrett's Place - The fix listed above is not valid. This has been tested and players still are Disconnected from server. This issue began when GameSpy "updated" their stuff.

Also - you are not being 'kicked' from your servers. You are simply being Disconnected from server.

Yes i now problem is in game spy and in the crytec systems server - the key is: the first start of game you never connect with menu INTERNET GAME, direct connect with LOCAL NETWORK GAME - this resolve problem for disconnect... If once connect with INTERNET GAME menu crysis wars connect with crytec systems server.... then connect with lan... butt problem stay - you connected with crytec systems server - and disconnect after 10 min... this is the way restart game and never connect with menu INTERNET GAME - connect direct with menu LOCAL NETWORK GAME - only this resolve problem "Disconnected from server"

I don't understand your fix.. if i understood the game system correctly you connect to a server by using a console command.. whether you manually type it in, use the "connect" button or click on a server in the list. You are saying that the whole cause is the act of bringing up the server list, I fail to see how that could affect the game in this way.

Note: you say "connect with lan" a couple of times, by that i assume you mean just use the connect button on the lan tab.. not actully connect with lan - right?

When you start the game do not enter in server list with INTERNET GAME - crysis make connection with with crytec systems server and problem stay if you enter in server list - mark server with one click and write to paper IP adress and port, and then exit in crysis (close game, no minimize) and start again do not enter in server list with INTERNET GAME - crysis make connection with with crytec systems server and problem stay - direct connect with menu LOCAL NETWORK GAME and enter manually IP and PORT from paper and connect! If you only once enter with menu INTERNET GAME to see servers problem stay - need to restart game to disable connection with crytec systems server.

I think abaut this problem. Need to connect with Spoonguard - creator of the Rconnect program and ask him for this problem. If no more support for Crysis Wars - another way is to disable connection with crynet systems server and direct connect with servers - i try this - no more kick and dosconection. Need to connect with other programmers to try to change crysis wars system files to never connect to crytec systems servers and GameSpy servers too... Regards Emo, my skype is embakot if you find a way....

They are taking their beauty nap like usual.

It WAS the weekend though. Too much work for them to boot up MC while they sit in bed. ^^

THEY don't really have to do anything. I do think that there should be an SLA between them and Gamespy that covers weekends. Anyway, once again you can't really complain about the service. There is none to speak off...

Hi guys,

We've contacted Gamespy regarding the issue with Crysis Wars and was told they were performing some technical tasks which may have caused the crash, it's being looked into now.

Tom

Well I've been playing now for a couple hours without being disconnected, so (for now) it seems everything is fixed. It took longer than it should have, but thanks for looking into this and getting on Gamespy's back to fix this issue, and thanks for the update Cry-Tom.

It's nice to see Crytek has a presence in here to communicate with it's customers and help resolve issues.

Sorry guys, in truth I thought I had updated this thread before with news on Gamespy - we actually got in touch with them the day this happened.

If you ever feel like we've missed something that should be brought to our attention you can drop us an email; community [at] crytek.com

I'll post any updates on the issue as I get them in this thread.
