Shouldn't be too long. The basics are in place. All I need is the UI for the settings, and a reliable save system. The first is easy, but the second I don't know about - doing everything for the first time here. :)

Cant you just store everything as ini settings?.
Fose users could modify on the fly. Non-fose users can open the ini and edit it...
maybe?.

The default settings are stored in the config file - works the same way. They are edited the same way the others are.

I'm getting the hang of it. :)

http://ui.darnified.net/wip/F3/fosePanels4.jpg

EN = Encumbrance
CC = CritChance
DR = DamageResist
PR = PoisionResist
FR = FireResist

Wow thats cool and nice, great to see more information being added like this. Can you do other weapon stats like spread and such with this too? FOOK's icon updat is giong to be nice as it shows those stats, but those icons are static and wont change if the weapon's stats change. Is the final product going to take up that much room on screen though? Hell, I always wished I could see the time in Oblivion like this. Shame the game requires FOSE to do many awesome things like this though.

You can turn off the panels individually, all at once, or just elements in them. http://ui.darnified.net/wip/F3/fosePanels6.jpg I'm still tweaking positions and such though. Weapon stats, etc will be in future updates.

Can the Rad meter stand out a bit more? That's part of the whole warning effect, the big red indicator accompanying the geiger tick. I'm not too keen on it being Just Another Stat Bar.

EDIT: Nevermind. Was a fault of Greenworld and not this one. Sorry.

EDIT2: Eh, still get minor lag when VATS pops up. Not sure why.

Excellent work. Love the UI. Keeps getting better. :)

Yessir. Latest patch up for download. Sorry for the delayed response for this. Was setting up a Windows XP VM to run Dungeon Keeper. ^^;

It's a fallout bug, has nothing to do with any mod. It appeared in v 1,1 and it's still present in 1.4

Well, I don't know how many hours I've spent porting my little toggle control over from Oblivion, but it ain't few! I couldn't wrap my head around it. In the end all I had to do was add a 1 in there...

The save system is working great: http://ui.darnified.net/wip/F3/duif3Settings1.avi - xvid 1280x800, 6.18 MB. Ignore the colors and positions - still debugging. :)

The settings save instantly as you modify them - something I implemented after I made the Save button... :banghead: Just save your game when you're happy with the settings, and they will persist.

Anyway, a couple more prefabs for the other control types, and I'm starting the debug process. I added ~2000 lines of code, so something is surely out of whack somewhere.

Using the FOMM version this mod is quite easy to install. Make sure you have at least FOMM 0.9.12. Put the FOMM file into Fallout 3/FOMM/mods. Activate the mod via "Packet Manager" in the FOMM. That's it!
Hope that helps!

I did however no changes like I said except the font the menus are exactly the same as default game.. Are they supposed to look by defult and I have to go through all them xml files and manually edit them to get the correct settings? as that would take ages!

When activating the fomm file you should be asked if you want to install the default font. I clicked yes and it works fine. Are you sure you have all the steps right?

yep as like I said I got a brand new font in game so that part did work otherwise the font wouldnt have changed... However nothing else in the game has changed.

Also I changed this line in DUIF3Settings.xml
<_sm_hideLIVE> 1 <!-- [0] Hides the LIVE button from the Start Menu -->

to the 1 from 0 and the live button is still there....

here is another user with the same problem
http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=949858&view=findpost&p=13977462

I just want my game like in the screenshots but its nothing like that after applying this mod..
