I personally don't think Beth would make a MQ revolving around the player becoming a Vampire or Werewolf. As many have said they wouldn't like being forced that option, neither would they like being forced to kill werewolves/vampires.

Not many people wanted to be Dragonborn, yet to play the main quest, they HAD to.

As many have said they wouldn't like being forced that option, neither would they like being forced to kill werewolves/vampires. On my Nord Archer account, I allowed her to join the Companions and become a werewolf and I hated killing the other werewolves that were captured. Granted they lost their sanity, but a beast would still recognise the smell yes? I dunno, I think the Azura DLC seems to fit more IMO , for many reasons,a and one that I don't think I've seen mention yet (Correct me if I'm wrong) but many Dunmer migrated to Skyrim after the Red Year and the Argonian invasion. Perhaps Azuras faithful with it?
I agree with everything you said. No one wants to be forced into anything, that's why the DLC should be seperate from the game while still being relevant like F3/NV's DLC.
I'd also like to see more Morrowind.

@Stordrage the werewolves in Skyrim are in fact Lycans... So, no way!

Anyway...

About the Snow Elves:

There is speculation that the Snow Elf will eventually become a surface-dwelling race once again as there have been reports of more and more organized surface raids of Falmer attacking cattle and crops for food. Ursa Uthrax (the author http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/The_Falmer:_A_Study) writes, "I fear a horror neither man nor gods could possibly stand against." - The Falmer: A Study book says that.. so it's a hint already in the game.

And about the Snow Prince: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Fall_of_the_Snow_Prince

Dawnguard.

Hmm, looking at that image of the Dovahkiin with light coming from behind his eyes I must admit my thoughts turned to Meridia the Daedra that provides you with Dawnbreaker.
Meridia hates undead and wants to eliminate them and one thing you can say about Skyrim right now is that its crawling with a TON of undead.

It really makes me wonder if the Dawnguard are related to this Daedra and hunting down Dragur, Skeletons, Vampires, Wraiths and other nasty undead we always seem to come across.

This would be horrible. Unless Bethesda gave us the option to fight WITH the undead against Meridia and her followers.

One thing I know I'd love to see in the DLC is entirely new land masses. I mean completely new; as in, not Nordic at all. I'm sick of turn stone flammable gloop undead tombs.

So much this! Kinda like the ones you could make back in Morrowind after you joined one of the great houses!

the snow prince is getting resurrected...his body wasnt burned with the rest of the fallen snow elves, the nords gave him an honored burial and preserved his body in a barrow.

along with his amazing silver armor and silver SPEAR

If Bethesda did decide to cut spears and crossbows for DLC I can already feel the backlash catching up to these forums.

You seem to imply just because you thought Skyrim's story was sub-par must mean the DLC will be sub-par. What kind of logic is that?

If you take water from the ocean do you expect it to be fresh water or salt water? The logic is simple (I disagree with it entirely), if something comes from something it will resemble that which it came from.

On topic Still pretty POed about the lame announcement. Though what has me more excited than the new area and quest is the improvements to the over all game. Remember each expansion is supposed to expand the game in some way and that is what has me excited. I'm personally hoping for more speech options and better mercantilism.

Aslong as it doesn't revolve around my character being Dovahkiin or something of that nature. Cause my character isn't Dovahkiin, but I still wanna party with the Snow Elves QQ

 Are you actually implying that just because it is from Beth it will be bad? By that logic many people would of found the Shivering Isle a terrible expansion due to all the hate Oblivion got around her at release. SI was widely considered a great expansion and even by some better than Oblivion's MQ. Please enlighten me how your so called theory can be proven.

It could have something to do with Dovahkiin being possesed by Jygglaglagg.
What's the reasoning behind this? Jyggalag is a relatively peaceful prince, he keeps to himself. The only reason he fought in the Shivering Isles was because he was trapped by the other princes as Sheogorath, the complete opposite of him.

Not sure if it will be this dlc but I'm willing to bet Talos will be a major factor maybe Guarding the dawn for man from the Thamor.

If I want more dragons I can go to Dungeons and Dragons..if I want Elves, I go play some Warcraft or some other stuff.

Or on a side note, perhaps I can join with vampires and kick some pathetic human ass and kill some stupid elves. Now wouldn't that be a sight.
And if you want vampires, go play Vampire Masquerade.

Skyrim is not based around vampires, as World of Warcraft isn't based around elves (most fantasy games have elves anyway, WoW is not unique in this aspect)

But, Skyrim is based around dragons, but as that threat is dealt with (as far as we know), then anything is possible. If Bethesda wants to bring back the snow elves, they sure as hell can.
