Dawnguard is annoying :\

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 8:05 am

The fear of the vampires coming is sometimes worse than when they do arrive.. since dawnguard i live in constant fear of protecting my people. Yet i play an evil vampire! they are my cattle!! i've subjected to uninstalling it and waiting till i've done the majority of vanilla skyrim before i play dawnguard. Got 220 ebony ingots saved for arrows though... wish they released flecthing in a path than the dlc.

now bethesda told people that anyone wants the dlc can download it , it will have bugs in it , as for the vampire attacks i think its a great idea what they have done , hey ancient dragons have attacked many holds and killed npcs that i would need but u cant stop that , jus part of the experience . The microsoft deal i think they thought was a good idea and the money i hate exclusive material just to come out before other systems they should release the content to all platforms , im a ps3 user n im proud and i cant wait to play dawnguard , people moaning bout the dawn guard dlc ur testing it for bugs if u get attacked by vampires dont fast travel into holds maybe walk , i try not to fast travel if i can help it so i get a better experience with skyrim , hats of to bethesda making skyrim im enjoying it all the time thankyou thankyou

I've been playing DG for awhile... and let me tell you, not a single citizen has die due to a vampire attack. turn your difficulty down if you don't want anyone to die. BAM that easy.
What a stupid suggestion. Have you even read what is the problem? Where did he say he is dying and unable to save NPC's ?

Be it a DLC that is bugged. I still love Skyrim and have been attached to it since day 1.

If you think this thread is annoying and whatnot, then why post on it?

That wouldn't work well, because then citizens would also be weaker...the best solution is hit the vamps fast before they move past the city gates.

Wow you are spot on, on how I'm feeling. I shouldn't have to 'reload' a game if NPC's die from an overly large amount of Vampires raiding the town.

I dont know what in gods name everyone is on about their people dying, i have 4 characters ranging from level 8 - 56, i play on master, and the most that i have ad die so far is 3 people in riverwood. and that was my fault cuz i accidentally used fireball instead of firebolt. EVeryone whines about the cities being too safe, and now they whine about them not being safe enough, seriously, just sod off.

I never whined about the cities being safe, so why aim this at me?

Its just really annoying to see the massive amount of threads whining about the cities being unsafe now, and before it was a massive amount of threads saying the cities were too safe.

Seems like Dawnguard is doing a pretty [censored] job.
oh yeah!? if the dawnguard werent doing there jobs there would be stumps crates and target practice dummies everywhere...and there are so yeah they arent doing there jobs all joking aside tho for a organization of vampire hunters they do a surprisingly little amount of vampire hunting.

Whats that, is it like a snow elf or something.

And ya having towns attacked is stupid, I dont want my npcs slowly dying when i need to buy things throughout the whole game and my leveling.
And I do buy alot of stuff.

It is amusing. Honestly, Bethesda did a good job with these vampire attacks. I love it.

I thought it was exciting and fun at first!

Until most of the population in the town died.

The reason it is amusing is because every one complained about being attacked at stage 4, so Bethesda removed that, and now we have vampire attacks on towns. It is funny because now people are kind of getting what they deserve for complaining about stage 4 attacks, honestly I think that is why Bethesda left the feature in.

But just as with the S4 attacks, most of us Committed Vamp players enjoy it

I enjoy it, because I do not have Dawnguard yet, but I was talking about all the other people who would complain and whine about being a vampire and getting attacked at stage 4.
