Dawnguard is annoying :\

Which is absurd to change ANYWAYS because they were many who like it
I know, I agree it was a stupid design choice.

I wish these vampire attacks would happen to me.
The vampire attacks are nonexistent on one of my saves. I get more dawnguard scout encounters in cities then I do vampire attacks.

I enjoy it, because I do not have Dawnguard yet, but I was talking about all the other people who would complain and whine about being a vampire and getting attacked at stage 4.
Karma just took a dump on them.

Just encountered yet another. To most of the opinions I just read, I guess I had a little more fun with it. I just casted 'fear' on my favourite NPC's :3 the Bounty is worth it :stare:

People saying it isn't a problem haven't played vanilla skyrim enough with dawnguard installed. Try making a new character with all those easy first things you used to do? throw a few leved vamps in there.. lose quest givers early.

I resorted into deleting the DLC untill my character is "ready" for it. Heard alot of problems about the elder scroll been buggy so im making sure im past that in the MQ of vanilla skyrim first.

It is amusing. Honestly, Bethesda did a good job with these vampire attacks. I love it.

I'll be reading these forums when its relased for PC and PS3, least PC will be safe with mods but the whole "Oh here we go whiners are here" will soon increase

Wrong. I started a new character specifically for dawnguard, I had absolutely no attacks for weeks. Infact i didnt see a single attack until I was a vampire lord and I was level 15 or so. Now Im level 40 and had plenty of attacks of both DG and vampires. Total numper of NPC's killed = 3. Those three are useless anyway, as they are the slaves around the markath smelter.

Not a single other NPC has died on me, with the exception of me having to reload once in whiterun when adrianne got attacked without me noticing it the first time. Other than that its been easy peasy. 171 game days in with this character on dawnguard.

Still dont see the problem.

I don't get it with all the people who have ago at others for whining, isn't it part of the reason we have these forums for in the first place? If people are happy with the game why are they even on these forums for and not playing the game?

I created this thread for the use/ warning of some people. Sorry if some do not appreciate what I say.

And please, don't say 'He' I'm a girl hahah. I haven't met a guy called 'Bree' before :ermm:
I assumed it was just a username like Atronook.

The reason it is amusing is because every one complained about being attacked at stage 4, so Bethesda removed that, and now we have vampire attacks on towns. It is funny because now people are kind of getting what they deserve for complaining about stage 4 attacks, honestly I think that is why Bethesda left the feature in.
I didn't mind it...it provided a challenge for vampire players. But now that I think about it, I'd like more variety in the attacks on towns. Its been a while since I've seen a good bandit raid...

I hated Dawnguard.I would've preferred a Thalmor war.And when I first saw a Snow Elf,I thought it was just a pale-skin High Elf.

Wow...it is getting SOOO boring with all these whiners complaining in so many different threads...use 1 thread and stick to it....

Ah...the typical degrade people who disagree with your opinion tactic...it avoids the whole making a constructive post, but is just an insult. An unneeded insult at that.

A person makes a thread with a specific intent in mind, and then gets insulted because you misinterpret that intent...

Good job?

I am a PC player and I think I am the lucky one, my game has had very few bugs. However I know many people who are playing with games that are very bugged and the answer seems to be start again. Given this state and the reports about how buggy the DLC is, I am passing on it.

Also I did not like the idea of the DLC to begin with, a vampire DLC was not a good idea when they could have picked from so many other ideas. Thalmor, or just expanding on the civil war. The dragons. Making the short rushed guilds better and longer.

No I think Skyrim is the last beth game for me, at least until they prove they can make a good game again.

I feel sorry for all those who brought the DLC, but I am glad enough did so the bugs got reported. Now I know I do not want to spend my money on making Syrim even more buggy.

It's sad you say that but I can understand why, I felt the same way about Dungeon siege spent a lot of time modding it, and then they just moved in a direction I did not like at all I turned away from them and haven't been back.

I said this in another post, that Beth should make the guards at the front gate essential to vampires only that way they just patch the game itself and not have to worry about patching or losing money on a dlc.

At least the PC players will be able to download mods like Populated Cities. With a bit of luck the generated NPC's will get killed 1st :P .

That never happened to me then again I finished the Dawnguard Volkihar MQ in a row, I didn't break off from it to do other things, don't get attacked after the MQ as much from what I understand, I get attacked by Dawnguard in the wilds though.

So the game delt you a bad hand and you couldn't overcome the odds. Now you have a personal reminder that being a hero is more than getting the best goodies, and that failure can happen.

Where's the problem and ruined experience...?

If your not having problems why come here? just to nag and insult people who are? I don't get it, be happy your not getting the bug and enjoy your game, that's what I would do if I wasn't getting vampire attacks way on the other side of the map in a city that i am not near.
