Death houndVampire raids are ruining the game.

I'm killing them as I come across them but it's getting extremely tedious to keep dealing with these constant attacks.

i wholeheartedly agree i may have only lost one named npc Wujeeta but i was close to solving the mystery involving her predicament and then as soon as i entered the city an angry mob of vampires and death hounds stormed the city. between me the town guard and my 2 atronachs i had it pretty well covered but a death hound that got away killed wujeeta and any hopes of my completing said quest. granted it was a minor quest but in a month or two or maybe even just a week i can see it becoming a big problem.

Wujeeta's quest is not "just a minor quest" - if you want to become Thane of Riften, that is.

Well, looks like I will skip this DLC then. This feature looks to be more of an annoyance than anything. Im just glad I read posts like this instead of ignoring the dawnguard section all together. It saves me some aggravation if I were to buy dawnguard only to experience this feature.

Ah right, that's what it was for Thane.

Time for you to reload OP! It will also be the "advice" given to you by those that do not have that issue. As well as "you need to learn to play better!"

Just preparing you for those posts is all.

There won't be any reloading here - we're flat-out not buying - and that is the recommendation we're passing along.

I wouldn't hold my breath but it was said a couple of days ago that a mod did pass on our concerns so hopefully it is at least being thought about.

I can't stand these damn attacks. I don't wont any of my NPCs to die to be honest. I do my best to keep them alive but when a town gets attack every time you visit your sure to lose NPCs and not know about it till you get the inheritance letter and by then you could of saved the game and it will be to late. Please fix this soon Beth.

When you have a family of your own someday and hold down a regular job you will realise very quickly that work related activity is not something you do in your own time. And especially when you are not being paid for it.

The fact that you answer like that really does show that you dont have a family of your own, nor are in a fulltime contractual based job. And no Im not being a git, its life experience that everyone learns eventually.

This.

Also they don't have to tell us what they're doing all the time, even if some of them are working on changes they don't owe us answers right this minute. Everyone should be patient.

Lets keep this on track. We need these threads to show Beth a lot of us have issues with it. We don't need them being closed before the limit.

im 16, im not supposed to have my own family and a full time job, what kind of game company lets all their staff off as soon as they release new content for a game? they should have someone addressing these issues. what was the point of the beta testers? as far as i can tell nothing was changed and there are still many bugs on top of the vampire attacks....

Read this on another forum:

You'll want to check and make sure because sometimes the vampire attack that spawns will be a single "Mysterious Traveler" who will kill silently. They're hard as hell to catch and near impossible to prevent. And they go in buildings :/

Anyone checked into this? Maybe follow a Mysterious Traveler in stealth and see what he does? From the post it's unclear if the traveler can assassinate people for an instant kill or what.

It is unclear yet whether he enters houses or not. Some say he does others say they followed him and he doesn't. Even is he does, he isn't the biggest threat. The majority of bodies come from Vampire attacks that happen before you have time to react.

The kind of company that asks their employee's to work 6 or even 7 days a week pulling 12-16 hour shifts for months on end thats who. What you dont realise because you have not been there yet is as a parent you have almost no free time. Its work & family 24/7, especially when they are younger. Its gruelling, demoralising and bloody hard work to keep it together at times. Expecting them to then come on a forum and have all that hard work criticised and disected to infinity is foolhardy.

As for the beta, the point of the beta was to collate the bugs that are present, determin which if any are critical to the product making it to sale and resolve the critical ones they can in the time given. Every other issue will need a patch which will take at least a month to create and launch post content release. And thats being super fast. Consoles need at least 2 weeks for MS and Sony to pass patches, and it will take anything from one week to a month or more to create a patch.

It is called the weekend. I would like them to address this problem as well, but don't be ridiculous.

Yeah. It might take a few days, but they'll be at least commenting at some point. At least they'd be crazy not to - the way this is flaring up they're going to start worrying about their sales. Though PC users can mod, it's so far a bit of a marketing disaster for the future PS3 release. And they won't want 360 users who haven't bought it yet having second thoughts because of this issue.

all i want is a response, i dont care if i have to wait 1 month for a patch. its not hard to say 'hey we are looking into this' -.-
