I can't login for the beta that is happening this weekend and because it wont let me connect to the server. When I try I get a "error 301 can't connect to server" message.

Everyone is having Login issues just keep trying i got to my Char Selection screen and still am getting some issues so just wait the weekend has just begun

As a few people have already stated, I also did not receive a forum link with my beta invite. It's not a fake because the email directly matches the email stated in the FAQ on the help site (plus I am logging into the game and already have a character created). I've already contacted customer support about getting a link to the right forums. So if you haven't done so already, I'd suggest doing what I did and hope for the best.

The announcement on the log in Screen Says: "NOTICE: We're investigating issues that are preventing testers from playing normally at this time." Has no ETA on when they will be bringing them back up.

I think the problem is many people did not receive this link. It might be what is "supposed" to be received, but it appears it didn't happen for many. Though as you suggested a support ticket should be submitted to remedy this.

Well, I gave it my undivided attention for a half an hr. I got through three different times for about 5 minutes each. Just enough time to play with my characters hair and face... then boom! Shut out.

I can't even log into the forums anymore. Not sure what that's about.

I'm going to bed and trying again around midnight. If I get in I'll play for a few hrs before going to work. Otherwise, It'll be tomorrow afternoon.

After awhile of disconnects I was also able to make a character and even played for 2 mins but then got disconnected again. Then they took the server down entirely. Hopefully they fix it soon.

One thing to remember folks is this is a beta test and not a new game release. Having problems and identifying them is part of the reason there are betas. So if you have problems, be sure to submit a support ticket or indicate it with your in game report system.
