Does Hoof Size Matter in a Pony?

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 8:01 am

Height is only one of many factors women take into consideration when choosing a mate, i would think that many women would find a short man with strong personality and ambition to be more attractive than say a wishy washy 6 foot layabout , for example.

There are no golden rules, women will take an interest in you for other reasons like if you are fun to be with, or your ability to provide a stable relationship , secure future etc. Next time you are in town , look at all the couples and you will see women teamed up with , tall men ,short men , fat men , thin men , hairy men , bald men, intelligent men , intellectually challenged men etc etc. Just try and do the best you can with what you have got and there is a good chance you will find someone.
This.

I am also 5'2", nearly everyone is taller than me!!
FTR, I have never had a beer rested on my head.

But see, I personally don't give a [censored] how tall she is.

Also, most girls are under 5'7", so wouldn't it be uncomfortable with someone alot taller? For me, even a girl who is 5'1" is almost too short to lay with, so I don't see how it would work if I were any taller.

So its like men around here say about women they want them short so they can rest a beer on their heads
I tried this once, it nearly spilled, then I learned a table is the best place....Then she said on a coaster would be even better...

I'd like a girl to be either my height or shorter. I'm 5'9" but this height thing never really occurred to me.

I've only ever went out with a taller girl than me once. She was quite taller, but we were drunk. I found out some few weeks ago that she's had a kid.

Tall martial artists have an advantage in striking sports like Taekwondo but not so much on the ground when wrestling. The best guy in my old BJJ class was shorter than I am

Fighting a short guy is generally a bad idea, they always think they've got something to prove so they fight with the strength and fury of two men :P

From what I've seen, especially tall girls have a harder time of it than especially short guys.

If it's power they want, then that's not problem, as I said my advlt weight is going to be around 200 lbs (physically fit), so height doesn't always mean strength.

Where I am it does apparently; I'm 5"8 and I see the ladies go after all the other guys after they have had their run with me just because of my average height.

But I'm in Dallas, so nearly everybody in my area is 6"4+, so I'm like the midget of the crowd here.

I gravitate towards men in the 5'10"-6'-3" range. And I'm 4'11". :P Not powerful/muscular, just tall. In my shallow defense, my father was 6', my brother was 6'5" and my sister 5'10" (mom was 5' 4"). So having to crane my neck upwards feels...normal.

But I've dated/gone out with men shorter than that. Height in the long run doesn't matter to most of the women I've known...however, I do agree that many may first-sight prefer a guy who's at least equal to her own height.

What's with all these insecure guy threads?

You just need to find a woman who either finds your set of characteristics attractive or who doesn't care. Protip, this may require you to take a mature view yourself and not run after shallow girls just because they're hot. Most people, I think, look at the whole package- no pun intended- so whatever your perceived worst flaw is doesn't mean you're doomed to be forever alone. Other people probably don't notice it as much as you do, unless you point it out to them.

Oh, and I'm 5'7" and married a man about my height. I probably would have said I'm attracted to taller men, but he was the right one so I didn't care about that.

@Celan - I try to remember that the dominant age group on forums such as these is probably male, 14-20. Don't think it's abnormal to have at least occasional doubts & insecurities about the world at that age range. For that matter, at any age, really. :D

lol, indeed. That was supposed to be implied/a general non-gender statement, but wasn't clear because of the sentences before.

I get a bit defensive when people appear to attribute one personality trait to one gender :)

The girls I know definitely want a guy that's of equal or greater height. I haven't met a girl that would go for someone shorter than them.

I'm about 8 inches taller than my girl friend.

I like smaller girls but not too small. I don't know why but I love being able to stand behind my girl and still see over her.

Also, I have this need to protect, being adorably small just appeals to my need.

I don't like small girls, never have. I like the people I date to be as much on "my level" as possible. Be about my size or just a few inches shorter, thanks.

I'm a whole 11 inches taller than mine. I find small girls very attractive for the same reason you do.

I also know someone else that likes small girls, he enjoys looking after them and the innocence they portray

I dislike girls being taller than me
