Ugh... Does he have to be a legacy?

What's wrong with dog armor? If I had a pet, I'd do what I could to protect him, same as a human companion. To knowingly and willfully NOT armor a dog in such an environment would be kind of neglectful.

You're right, let's have it!
Then we can have a mounted laser turret installed on his back.
And maybe a chinese stealth suit, dog edition!
Maybe after you reach lvl 30 he can shoot endless mini-nukes out of his eyes as well.

I know I'm being kind of extreme but dog armor is just ridiculous, even Repcon would laugh at it.
But I guess the same "If you don't like it don't use it argument can be brought up".
But don't go complaining when by lvl 50 every animal has armor in fallout 5.

I just think it's going to be a snowball effect.

Dogmeat will appear again as a chance "easter egg" encounter if you have the Wild Wasteland trait...
