Dovahkiin vs. Courier 6 - Opinions?

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 11:44 pm

No but there are spells. I

1. Invisibility. Courier has no idea where the person he's shooting is.

2. Reflect Damage. All the force, and damage of that snipers bullet is magically directed back to the Courier. The Courier shoots his own head off.

And It is beautiful.
1. Perception
2. Don't work with ranged.

Okay. Maybe 6 stands a chance. Maybe, if he ran away like a little girl and sniped the Dovahkiin it might hurt (headshots mean nothing to him), but what if it was the CoC post-Shivering Isles?

Yeah but he can see him through a thermal scope. Not to mention, what weapons can damage the courier when he's in PA? Sure some destruction spells but while they're being cast at him he;s going to have time to shoot or blow up the caster.

One shot headshots are indeed pretty. There are items at the disposal of C6 that lets him / her see a cloaked enemy. Besides, what's this about reflect damage?

Depends where they are fighting. In fallout universe magic does not exist so the courier would win. In the elder scrolls the dovakin would win since their is magic. In a neutral place that takes both into account dovakin. I don't know how people thinks technology beats magic. Magic allows you to bend reality, technology is restricted by reality. Also the daedric armor is an unnatural armor and could never be compared to anything created in our or fallouts universe. Their is also the fact the courier is restricted to using stimpacks where the dovakin has health potions and the ability to use magic to heal himself. The only way for the courier to win is in fallout.

I would like to see Dovahkiin shrug off a near 6000 damage head shot.

But Dovah has no reflect damage. It seems to have died with the Mages Guild
As for invisibility, VATS will still let you track (just not target) a stealthed enemy. Just sayin'.

I would like to see 6 get a headshot on someone who only has one hitbox. Head shots have no effect.

And i'd like to see Daedric armor stop an AP round fired from an AM rifle.

1. Perception

Dragonborn is invisibile, and has the muffled spell. Courier can't see OR hear him. How the hell can he percept him? Last time I checked he wasn't psychic.

Don't work with ranged.

Fair enough.

Dragonborn casts a Shield/Armor Flesh spell to mitigate the damage. He very most likely survives the shot. And if he takes any damage, he simply uses Restoration to heal himself.

Either that or he casts Etherial Form, and makes a B-Line towards the Courier.

How many bullets does the Courier have?

But Dovah has no reflect damage. It seems to have died with the Mages Guild

Lol what? Just because a spell isn't in the Skyrim GAME doesn't mean it wouldn't exist in this scenario. A spell is a spell, and if a mage can learn it Dragonborn can as well.

Hell I'm still saving my "Levitate Spell" retort in case someone brings up mines.

Endgame Courier with all 4 DLC would have a lot, especially if you take into account energy based weapons too.

A few things:
  • You're asking this in the Skyrim Forum. That seems a bit biased towards the Dovahkiin
  • These are both mane characters in highly open-ended games. Depending on the way somepony plays the Dovahkiin, and the way they play Courier 6, anything could happen.
Okay, that was only 2 things, but still.

Thank you. Honestly if a Deathclaw can survive a .50 cal bullet. Who's to say a magic shield couldn't too?

I mean seriously. Think of a magically armed Dragonborn as a Deathclaw who can shoot fire from his/her hands, and regenerate health a lot faster./

...And can turn Invisible..

And can raise the dead..

And can turn into a ghost..

And can call lightning from the sky..

Yes it does.. If the tech doesn't exist it means the courier doesn't have it.

Courier puts on chinese stealth armor. Dragonborn has no idea where courier is. Courier then uses experimental MIRV to fry Dragonborn.

1. Oh don't worry, this'll find its way to the New Vegas forums as well. ;D
2. It's more of a general thing. This subject is more for discussion and less for decision.

You guys seem to assume that the materials in fallout are equivalent to those in the elder scrolls. The materials in themselves are supernatural. Even though the C6 has anti material sniper and power armor, they are made of real world materials or real world like materials. The dovakin has access to supernatural materials. Real world material has nothing against supernatural materials.

Yeah but limitations. If we are going on Dovah based on just playing the game and not beefing up armor, weapons, and enchantments he would have shout cool down times. And even with magic armor I'm pretty sure mechanic wise he would still take damage.
