Dovahkiin vs. Courier 6 - Opinions?

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 7:45 pm

To be truely fair, it would be Dovakiin in his iconic armor (which is visible on the background of this forum) and signature unrelenting force and Courier 6's iconic armored vault tech suit + courier's stash weapons. None of this Deadric vs power armor, Ebony blade vs Fatman as both Dovakiin and courier 6 set ups are not set in stone so endgame gear for both sides is pointless to use as excuse why which side would win.

Courier puts on chinese stealth armor. Dragonborn has no idea where courier is. Courier then uses experimental MIRV to fry Dragonborn.

MIRV was fallout 3.

MIRV was fallout 3.

The Courier can still obtain it. Even if he or she can't then Tesla Beacon prototype.

Doesnt mean the Courier doesnt have acces to one.

So i guess that means dovakiin gets access to a deathstar according to ur logic. "Just cuz its not in the game doesnt mean he doesnt have access to it?" Yea, it does.

No. A deathstar doesnt exist in TES lore. An MIRV exists in Fallouts lore.

Thank you. Honestly if a Deathclaw can survive a .50 cal bullet. Who's to say a magic shield couldn't too?

I mean seriously. Think of a magically armed Dragonborn as a Deathclaw who can shoot fire from his/her hands, and regenerate health a lot faster./

...And can turn Invisible..

And can raise the dead..

And can turn into a ghost..

And can call lightning from the sky..

Yes it does.. If the tech doesn't exist it means the courier doesn't have it.

None of that matters if the courier activates one of their 10 or so uses of turbo, not counting the non implant ones, which they could have infinite of.

Dragonborn uses detect life. He now knows where the Courier is.

I mean seriously how many times do I have to say that?

Courier then uses experimental MIRV to fry Dragonborn.

Dragonborn Whiriwind sprints out of the way. The MIRV radius isn't that big.

Dragonborn casts fireball at the Courier. The Courier gets his legs, and arms blown off. I mean honestly.

Fireball spell is basically a missle launcher you don't have to reload.. Ever.

. And even with magic armor I'm pretty sure mechanic wise he would still take damage.

Even if he took damage, he could just use a healing spell right after.

There is no logical way for Courier to win. Magic, and shouts are just overpowered.

I have a hard time seeing Technology compete.

Wow.. This is just too easy. Dragonborn slows down time itself, and casts Paralyze on the Courier.

The drugged up mailman can't even move now.

Honestly I dare someone to come up with a option that magic, or shouts can't counter.

A healing spell won't heal a .50 cal round hole in your chest. If anything the armor is going to cause the round to shatter and shred the dragon borns innards.

Given the canon* characters for each game - Dovahkiin in his Studded Armor, Iron Helmet, Iron Gauntlets and Iron Boots, with his Steel Sword and Banded Iron Shield (All pretty early-game items), and Courier 6 in his Armored Vault Suit, with Courier's Stash weapons, I'd have to give it to the Courier, just because the early-game items given to the canon* Dovahkiin wouldn't be sufficient to deal with the weapons in Courier's Stash. Also think of what the character would be thinking. The Dovahkiin would likely be confused, facing a strange man with weapons and clothing he's never seen before, while the Courier probably just sees an armored crazy who wants his head.

*Not sure if "canon" is the best term, but it's the one I'm using. What I mean is the iconic, commonly recognized iteration of those characters.

If a stimpack can do it, why not a spell or a potion?

I'm pretty sure I got shot with a 50. cal in fallout and was fine. I was wearing power armor and daedric is at least equivalent to it.

Because a stimpack is a combat drug that can easily be applied and a spell is going to take a second or two to cast.

Dude.. MAGIC armor.

As I said before. If a Deathclaw.. I'll repeat myself.. A Deathclaw can survive a .50cal shot. Who's to say a Ebonyflesh, or Shield spell can't as well?

I mean honestly.

Yeah. Ingame. In an actual scenario the Courier would have to fish out his stimpack, and take the time to stab himself with it.

And unlike the Dragonborn he has a limited amount of stimpacks. While the Dragonborn can just cast Fast Healing forever.

THIS

I took .50 cal shots on lonesome road in ranger veteran armor, barely took 1/4th my health. Barely.

comparing couriers stash seems unfair in my opinion since it is a dlc and not the true items you start with. It would be better to say the items you get in the first dungeon vs what you can get in goodsprings if you want a start comparison. As for iconic I don't belive we see the courier with anything but his vault uniform so that is not really a good thing to go off of.

Dovahkiin by himself could kill anyone from the Fallout universe. Could kill any creature from that universe as well.
