Dragon's Dogma Thread #3

Post » Sat May 26, 2012 3:18 am

I just encountered a quest where you had 2 different options to do things. DD may be more of an RPG then i thought.

Spoiler
It was a Wyrm Hunt quest. I had to go and Observe something being done by the Salvation. I had an option to kill someone or let them live. Though the Pawns dialogue afterward leads me to believe that the other guy would have killed him if i had not.

How's the lore? Can this be more than just a one off? I've heard the story and characters are real bad...

The characters are rather forgettable, but like I said, combat is the best part of the game. Its worth a rent if you are on the fence

I'm trying to make my way through the Witchwood (I know it's stupid to be going through it at this point considering my low level but I'm determined).

I've hired some higher level pawns to try to try to compensate for my main character and my main pawns lower levels. It paid off for fighting against the bandits and wolves on the road to the Witchwood but now I'm almost certain that I've bitten off more than I can chew.

Well so far the biggest thing that I don't like about this game is how limited my time to play it is. :)

I want this game So bad, but the only way to get it is for me to trade in my best games to gamestop, leaving me with a load of crap I will never play (all of the junk I'd be left with is older stuff worth .75 cents to $2.00 each at gamestop), Skyrim, and Dogma. Not sure it's worth it......

I just found a pair of Golden Stilettos in a random loot gather. they are worth 37,000 gold O_O

Maybe a keeper. I haven't played the game yet, so I'm not sure about the items lol. But golden stillettos seem like a good trade item as long as no one can purchase it from a merchant

The description on golden items is "sold for a high price, but not worth much else"

I think they are just really rare

Doing a quest where i go visit the Duke's wife in her chambers at night 0_o the handmaidens tell me the Duke hasn't been in her "chambers" [euphemism?] since the Wedding night. but he keeps a guard outside her door to watch her. If a guard sees me i'll be thrown in the dungeon.
