Dragon weapon disappointment

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 12:14 pm

It's funny because us PC players have have dragon bone weapons (which by the way look better than Bethesdas) for ages.

What's really funny is even though I'm an xbox player I have that one mod
...The "I don't really give a [censored]" mod.

518 dmg on deadric sword is max without using that exploit or bugged ancient knowlegde buff. so the difference is smaller in the end it seems than you claim.

Just why? I hate it when people smith the crap out of this game and render it totally broken. Why would you want a weapon that does 518 damage? So you can one-shot Alduin on master and call it skill?
That's abuse if you ask me, and its definitely game-breaking. We're going back to the age of gameshark, except we no longer need a "codebox" to exploit the programming that's already there, left by the devs for us to crack and hack.

i wish that the handles were made of bone for the swords and the blades be made of ebony. IMO that would look badass

That would be an ebony sword, then.
Making the handle of a weapon out of something is pointless. The pointy end is what matters.

What did you expect of weapons made from the BONES of a dragon?

I don't even upgrade weapons. I keep the base damage.

I only use the sword and greatsword, and I think they're hands down the best looking weapons in each of their catagories.

The rest of them, though.. I see where you're coming from.

I could see someone RPing a barbarian dragonborn using the others.. But not anyone playing a knightly character. They just look too utalitarian. Then again, I suppose that's what they were going for. They are dragon bones shaved down into weapons. In the warhammer's case, just hacked in two. =P

These are way better in my opinion:

The warhammer has dragon teeth fitted into a metal head.

Everyone has their own opinion when it comes down to these kind of discussions, I for one am overjoyed with Dragon Weapons. I find them way better looking than Daedric.

They look great. I finally have a reason to take smithing beyond the steel and arcane perks.

Damn that is one amazing-looking Battleaxe. I might have to retire my Daedric Warhammer for it.

yeah the dragonbone weapons were a bit of a let down, and off topic, the new enemies so far besides the gargoyles are a let down. Look's like they just threw skeletons and scourge draugr into the soul cairn and plastered new names on them. Like seriously, boneman? Wrathman? lol

I really liked them and thought that they fit in well with the dragon bone armor.

Bonemen and Wrathmen were from Daggerfal which featured the Soul Cairn

All I have to say is that the dragonbone Warhammer looks like a whale Schlong. I guess the dragonborne doesn't fully understand which dragon 'bones' you should take when you make a weapon..

It's a shame that what should be an iconic weapon set is so sub par...

There are modder made versions of Dragonbone weapons that look vastly superior.

Dragonbone weapons are superior to daedric, and they look alright....I guess some were expecting a bit more "flashy" looking weapons.

Dragonbone Daggers look great for an assassin, everything else is okay.

The Warhammer looks like a chicken bone

They look...like dragonbones...that is as good as it should be. They are BONES after all...you can only do so much smithing work before they just break

I love the dragon bone Greatsword. It's nice having a really effective endgame weapon that doesn't look obnoxiously evil.

You can mod an Xbox quite easily and I assume you can do the same for PS3.
Yeah but if you do that you'll end up on the "Why was I banned" website. lol. you should look it up sometime. great for a laugh.

Don't worry, they'll be modded soon. Just waiting for the DGCK to come out.
