Dragon weapon disappointment

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 1:27 pm

I was real exited to finally be able to use dragon weapons, but I must say they don't look half as awesome as I thought they would.

I was expected something magnificent featuring a truly epic combination of metal and bone in harmony together creating a masterpiece.

Instead I only see a piece of metal with a bit of bone attatched to it ... :'(

Anybody else feel the same way?

Don't worry, they'll be modded soon. Just waiting for the DGCK to come out.

You DO know that Dawnguard is currently only out for Xbox, right? And that there are no mods on Xbox?

I'm glad they didn't do any over the top design. They looked similar to how I expected except for the mace, which looks stupid, and the warhammer, which is very odd although in a way awesome (it's way to small though).

I personally just loved the dragonbone bow. Improved it and it worked just great for me.

I would have to say that the coolest looking DB weapon is the bow. One comment that I read earlier about them that I agree with is that I wish all of the weapons were spikey like the bow since both Dragon armours are fairly spikey and they would compliment the armor more...but that said I honestly think they look pretty good, the damage upgrades are really what i care about :)

Dragonbone Daggers look great for an assassin, everything else is okay.

The Warhammer looks like a chicken bone

It's funny because us PC players have have dragon bone weapons (which by the way look better than Bethesdas) for ages.

I like em, they look like they were made from bones, not just OMG SOMETING SPIKEH!!!!

The mace looks odd, but I can see what they were going for... but I dunno, it just looks off...
The warhammer is pretty amazing from a looks standpoint, it looks like you took a thighbone off of a dragon and put a handle on it (which I find schweet)

I don't like how they lied they weigh more than daedric, daedric is still better by one point, and daedric armor is still better than dragon :S

well I don't recall them saying they'd buff the armor, just that the weapons will be superior, and you say that was a lie? Shame. The weight makes sense though as the dragon bones are some of the heaviest items around (material wise)
