Humph. Not impressed. I hoped we wouldn't get a beta again. It did very little and seemed to be a marketing tool over anything else. It showed as much transparency as the PS3 fiasco. I take it that all the Americans who took part in the DG beta are doing it again. Not really much point trying to keep it a secret since half of them had 'Dawnguard Beta tester' in their sig and so everyone knows who they are.
Different betas have different levels of secrecy. Although I did think it was funny how it blatantly says in the email to not discuss being in the beta, and yet, only minutes after the messages were sent out....
The primary focus has been and is to test the content and look for bugs. Whether or not those bugs are fixed by the official launch, however, is another story.
