Dragonborn Immortality

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 1:58 pm

There are plenty of NPCs and books in Skyrim that mention there hadn't been a Dragonborn since Tiber Septim; and he didn't even have to deal with any dragons because they were already long since dead.

There's also plenty of NPCs and books in Skyrim that mention the entire Septim dynasty was dragonborn.

Including "The Book of the Dragonborn."

Isn't the whole idea of dragonborn, being someone with the body of a man, elf, beast race, etc, but with the soul of a dragon? That might make Dragonborn immortal.

Being Dragonborn alone does not make onne immortal so teh Dovahkiin we play as might not be either.

The entire Septim line was Dragonborn and far from immortal.

There's no way they would make an x-pack that deals with the reunification of the empire by the Dragon born. They already boxed themselves in by allowing you to choose a side in the rebellion, and in order to remedy this, they would need to make two extensive storylines that far outstrip a conventional x-pack.
