Dragonborn Trailer!

thats what i was thinking, but as i mentioned before, does that book you find on the pride of tel vos state that Brand Shei is the last living legacy of the Telvanni? If thats the case, then there are no telvanni left, and they just left behind their tower/buildings. I really hope they have telvanni because they were my favourite greathouse.
Also if there was telvanni still around, you'd think they'd still have slave markets and stuff? So maybe we'll be seeing slaves again in the DLC?

Hmm, well the Dunmer who wrote the journal entry was doing so while the Argonians were ransacking what remained of Morrowind. Its plausible that although it seemed to him that the Telvanni died out, in reality a few stragglers made their way to Solstheim.

Did anyone notice the boat sailing in 1st person at the very beginning of the trailer? Sort of looks like we might be able to sail boats?

Or then it's scripted like the carriage in the beginning of Skyrim.

Also, did anyone notice somebody riding a big warthog-like creature? And, looking at it a second time, I realized they were wielding spears. Interesting.
Pretty sure they are Rieklings. I hope this means spears for player too.

I suspect players won't get to use spears because it should be a worthy feature but yet they never showed the player using a spear, rather they showed new swords, maces and axes...hope I'm wrong though.

True, they didn't show players wielding spears. But I suspect that's more of a piece of information they'll either release eventually or just surprise us. I'd be very surprised if they weren't in. After all, the gamejam video showed off spear-wielding, so I think there's a high probability.

Still, I can understand not wanting to expect to much. I'm just saying...just because spear wielding wasn't shown by the player doesn't mean anything.

As a related side note: Did you see the reiklings wielding spears - at 1:06 in trailer?

Brelyna Marylon comes from a 'once-prominent' family in Great House Telvanni. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Brelyna_Maryon

In the lore article, it also states that it's possible that only the main family is extinct. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:House_Telvanni

Or maybe they'll be similar to Dwarven ruins, merely being a remnant of a once-present group of people, and take on roles as dungeons for the player to delve into. Perhaps the Dragonborn finds and reads the book that was shown in the trailer in an abandoned Telvanni ruin, and is teleported? So many possibilities. The people seen walking at the Telvanni Tower could be archeologists interested in unearthing Great House secrets, or another Great House doing so, maybe even the Synod or College of Whispers, etc.

Yeah at first I thought it was the mounted goblin because it made a gesture and I was like he still has a spear in his hand lol, but then I looked closely and saw the goblin behind him. I love the whole tribal vibe that they have, reminds me of those creatures in the mummy 2 movie. BTW they did a really good job on the boar, much better then Oblivions or the ones in mods.

Yep, I'll finally be able to get rid of the STALKER boars in lore-friendly SkyMoMod and replace them with these :)

As mentioned before, the creatures aren't goblins, they're Rieklings - and presumably they're not riding normal boars, but Tusked Bristlebacks. As they appeared in Morrowind: Bloodmoon - http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:BM-creature-riekling-mounted.jpg

Yeah people seem to forget that Goblins in TES are Huge. Remember the goblins in oblivion? Some of them were like almost double the size as the player characters. Wheras reilkings are small munchin dudes.

Looks like it has the potential to be a very interesitng and entertaining add-on. More so than Dawnguard did IMO.

Lol my bad I only called them goblins because bethesda called them that in the game jam video. Im a big fan of your mod and am happy that you are still supporting it.

It's cool to hear Max Von Sydow again. I think it's him?

The Blades have sullied him a bit :( Damnit.. but he's epic. Can't have none of that.
