it could possibly be an ascended sleeper, it does sort of look like them, but 200 years after morrowind all the sleepers and [censored] should be gone by now, as when you kill a dagoth it frees all the sleepers in nearby towns, i dont see why killing dagoth ur wouldnt do the same..
It looks like to me though that the background is in hermaus mora's realm (who knows i could be wrong). But if it is hermaus mora's realm, then its probably not an ascended sleeper but some sort of other minion

The hell with dragon mounts, spear, and werebear (No hard feeling). I'm totally thrilled right now after saw those Morrowind's trees! Totally epic trailer.

I wonder if there's going to be some sixth house stuff in the game. At 1:00 we see a creepy floating, vaguely humanoid tentacle monster that kinda reminds me of the Ascended sleepers from Morrowind. Not quite as fat, though. Right after that there's a glimpse of some creepy, deformed zombie types, which made me think about corprus.

if you look observe closely you can see HM's realm as well as what I like to call "Spectral Dragon Armor" or rather hints that the "mage armor" spells have special looks to them. of course Its speculative....of course.

It actually could be. We don't fully understand the properties of Herma-Mora's realm, it could be that creatures from all over Tamriel's history inhabit it due to her intended will, or they were perhaps brought there for an indended purpose to be preserved, etc. I know, a leap in logic on my part, but the realms can be fairly strange. Vaermina's is a constantly shifting nightmare, we all know Sheogorath's, Molag Bal's is a twisted version of Tamriel, on and on. Time will tell.

That's funny cause we have discussed another DB before, which being evil. This is gonna be something...

Stalkers didn't use weapons and had only basic motor function.(I don't think even the ascended ones used weapons)


1st one is likely something to do with HM's realm. Perhaps one of the Wraiths said to be endlessly perusing his library.
2nd one...perhaps a redesigned Hunger? They did have long tongues after all. Seems to be HM related.


You can see something around 0:42-0:43 on the right side in Hermaeus Mora's realm. Can't quite make out what it is.

But yeah, there was no background to the Octopus helmet!

Also, I rather doubt that Dagoth Ur's minions would still be in existence. They would have been wiped out first by the Nerevarine, and then by Red Mountain itself. Although, the background in the dead-thing shot looked suspiciously like the ashlands...

yeah thats what everyones speculating. BUT in morrowind you cure corprus. Well not necessarily cure it, but you make it so there is no more 'new' corprus. That being said, it is possible for corprus beasts to have lived for the last 200+ years, as corprus does make you live forever. But i cant really see how any corprus beasts made it to solthsiem from vvardenfell.
I mean corprus was restricted to vvardenfell, thats why they had the quarantine and you couldnt leave the island back to the mainland, because they were keeping corpus off the mainland.

And you think in the last 200 years there would have been crusaders of a sort (most likely house Redoran or house Indoril or the temple) that would be hunting down and killing any remaining corprus beasts.

But who knows, there is still a possibility that the Nervarine has been spreading corprus in the last 200 years (as s/he does still have the disease, s/he just doesnt get the negative effects from it, which im not sure if that includes the contagious part of the disease)

I'm pretty sure this will be like Tribunal/Bloodmoon/Shivering Isles/Point Lookout in the fact that it'll completely blow the vanilla game out of the water.

I got a warm, fuzzy feeling when I saw that netch and Telvanni tower. I'm glad the new players will get a chance to experience these things. I was hoping for a glimpse of Castle Karstaag or ruins of Frostmoth and Raven Rock.

Thank you, the reikling looks more like the goblins from the game jam trailer, though I'm not on that I think they were cool. I'm glad for spears, if you look I think they even have mounted spear attack animations because the reikling was mounted with spear in hand. The new dragon looks like the nazgul from lord of the rings which is welcomed Im not complainining, I just wish it had its custom animations. The unknown creatures have a cathulu vibe to it the squid mouth creature I think somehow this is going to be the theme of the dlc. Im glad to see more dunmers walking around.

Is that what that was? When I first saw that I thought of Mass Effect's tech armor lol.

Let me just say, that trailer was awesome. I think we will all be appreciative for more concrete details, but as far my expectations go, they have been blown completely away. One burning question I have: how will the new armor work into the smithing tree and will it be on level or competitive with dragon armor? I am contemplating how to spend my perks in smithing right now, or if I even want to, and it is hard to decide without knowing this.

Trailer downloaded! I wish it came out a bit later or earlier though cause it comes out the same day as the full package of the Walking Dead and i also need to buy Hearthfire with Dragonborn :/

Yeah the second one actually looks more like an ascended sleeper to me then the firstone does. But who knows, it could be anything!
