Dragonplate Armor - Wow, that is some ugly [expletive delete

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 12:23 am

Yeah...what the title says. :o

Am I a Dragon Priest model?

...a Falmer Witch Doctor?

...a Forsworn pimp?

Nope, just a Dovahkiin without a mirror apparently.

Wow, I want to represent, but I may have to go back to my Daedric set.

The dragon armour looks ridiculous on male characters, but it looks ok on females. Theres something weird going on with the chest plate in the male version. (nothing to do with boobs :nono: -its the neckline and how its all big, and clunky.) Thats my opinion, anyway.

Daedric is much better, and not worse, stat-w3ise.

The elven armor is the third best looking piece of armor/clothing in the game. (First: Nightingale Armor, Second: Unhooded Thalmor Robes, Third: Elven Armor)

you have very strange tastes in armor but i do agree nightingale is the best looking armor in the game.

Why, i had to literally mod elven meshes and texture so it would look like ebony armor.

If I remember correctly, in Morrowind you could combine armor + robes (like placing the armor under the robes). I wish that we could still do that. I'd use the hooded black robes, a circlet, and the elven armor underneath.

Elven isn't necessarily ugly - just effeminate-looking.

It always has to do with boobs.  I haven't seen it on a female character, but, maybe the shoulder pieces are smaller?

Unless you're talking about Dragonscale - that seems less pre-historic looking.

deadric is stronger stat-wise
Yeah. Well, not my set...yet. I improved the Dragonplate with more Fortify pieces on, but, yeah, if/when I re-improve the Daedric it'll be better. I may do that.

Yeah, but, they could've carved and shaped the bones a little I'd think. :P Not literally strap long bones to the kilt and greaves parts.

That stuff is beautiful.

Edit: I improved a set I found just to put it on a mannequin...will be nice if it becomes visible in the next patch.

I've only previewed the Dragonscale, but it looks a little more refined. Skull for a cod piece? That can't be good for business.

Yeah, I could do that. Mjoll will wear Heavy. :P Even though she won't keep it on I might let her keep it - it's not like I have a shortage of bones/scales.

Elven stuff is lady-like. :P ...and the Forsworn stuff looks good. Also, Falmer armor looks pretty good on chicks, surprisingly. :o

I just want our wives to wear the Tavern Clothes.

i have never gotten Mjoll to wear forsworn armor yet.

but Lydia, Aela and just about everyone else has once

the forsworn armor is more protective than their default armor.

I got my dude up to 100 smithing, added neccesary perks, made both dragon armors, reloaded back to save before wasted perks and kept my legendary ebony armor and 2 perk points. Like many people I don't really like any of the armor in this game. Probably steel plate I think looks the best but 6/7 of my characters wear light armor and I wasted all the perk points so my smither dude may aswell wear his awesome ebony set.

It either looks like you're wrapped in a dead cat, airy fairy gold and glittery elven/glass junk, or MASSIVE clunky macho heavy armor.. And so many skirts on male warriors is just not right.

Elven is.... bling without the sing. It's - not effeminate - precisely.... It's just plain UGLY. Like almost all the armor in this game. And then someone does a WONDERFUL mod off the N'gale armor but doesn't do a fem version.

*SIGH*

my problem with nightingale armor is the cape.

how do you sneak with it?

it like wearing a dress with a trane.

you have to keep moving the trane out of the way.
