I'm confused why we'd want to save Skyrim's monotony. That's like saying we should save Skyrim's broken magic system, or its lack of consequences, or its bugs.
These are things I want fixed, not preserved.
The person had just discovered the elfpunk genre and found it extremely interesting. I sometimes can get really hyped up about something I just discovered, but eh.
That aside, I'd love to see many of Skyrims problems fixed. Mods for us PC users don't cut it, sorry. Official fixes are worth many words to us, at least to me. Maybe it's just my lack of sleep, but the most important fixes during a game's lifespan is the official ones when the game is being supported. I heard somewhere that companies are using the online thing that many games have these days, even single player games, to figure out what things are most popular in that game easier.
Let's do those problem quests more often so they know what the problems are if this thing I've heard is true. Maybe sending screenshots and photographs with a letter through snail mail can also be helpful.
The magic system probably will be fixed. Seems like there's just too much agitation over it for me to not see it getting fixed next game. I'd better just leave these kinds of posts in the hardware boards... Oh well.
