PC, Mac, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4
PC, Mac, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4
I would have pulled my hair out without the sarcasm.
just remember, everytime time a dev limits how many skills you can use in game it is because they want it on a console
If this is true, I can already see 90% of the community playing on PC. An MMORPG on a console? Yeah....
I agree. I think that trying to get Xbox One, PS4, and PC players to function on the same server would cause too many problems. Defiance has them separated, so I would think that TESO would follow that example.
I know right? my whole life everyone has acted pro-xbox and ive been forever alone with playstation...
But everywhere i go on the internet now, people are bashing the crap out of Xbox and clamoring to the PS4...
But let's not turn this into a console war, i dont want this thread to be shut down... I havent seen this forum this active in FOREVER...
I will be getting it on the PC for sure...
But now they have to do 3x the work, how does that not impact the pc players? The game will also have to be developed to allow controller use, which will limit PC players greatly.
hey I started a new thread to more closely discuss 3 platforms mmos such as Defiance, and what can be done in ESO to learn from past mistakes:

feel free to contribute
Oh and Destiny looked like a pretty damn good MMORPGFPS.
Hope it comes to PC.
What's funny, some of you guys were a little stern recently when threads asking about TESO on consoles started showing up. Speak of the Devil, am I right?
Sarcasm? Because that really seems how it works out.
Console gamers tend to be much much much more casual than PC gamers.
Us PC gamers like our games to have more depth and customization to them, more thought process. I know it sounds adamant but that really is how it works out.
I'd hate for this to truly effect how the PC version works.
Pretty sure its because they want to stay true to TES. Meaning action based real time combat. Not archaic rotation cooldown based.
Or, you know, All 6 skills on your hotbar will be awesomely powerful and it isn't a game based on rotations... and every skill has a morph allowing you to further customize it... Meaning that your chances of running into another player set up just like you unless you are running the FOTM build is very slim...
I'm pissed about this news too, but bashing a core integral part of the game seems a little odd...
Edit: oh @Pangscar ... how perfect.
im not making stuff, im just quote Firor on is last interview, 4 men gruops will be able to meet other 4 men gruops to tackle more "challenging content", im pretty sure u can find that interview yourself, or even read on the many thread about solo content in this same forums
thats not what i call a RAID
Yep, even when pc players have their own server, ZOS will have to design their game for console gamers unless they are planning on having TWO teams releasing TWO different games, which will never happen. So yeah, ESO sounds like some Frankenstein experiment.
Yeah personally I think this information just made the game go a little bit downhill.
God, my hype for this game is dropped a bit after hearing this news. Yeah I know that they servers are going to be separated, but I don't know. I still don't like this news at all. I mean you could see it coming with them only having 6 abilities, but gah, I wish this game would have stayed PC exclusive.
So because you can meet up with people that means you can't somehow go in with a pre-made guild group how? Where in the interview does it say that?
Yeah felt like a heartbreak.
Reminds me of Activi$ion and Blizzard. Heh.
Now its $ony and Bethe$da
And, hey, you know what you can do go on WoW and find 9random people and try to do any Heroic Raid in that game and come back to me when you were able to clear it successfully.
Just because he said you can run into other people and try to do the 24 man content, doesn't mean that content still isn't hard enough for random people to complete. So yes Pang was correct in that you are just making [censored] up.
